That kind of content just isn't interesting for the industry as we all know it.
Most games here have explicit 3D animated sex scenes hand crafted by a team or a degenerate neckbeard.
The only thing that could perhaps cut ties to that is the voice acting, hell some games already have that here.
As for the "Bring your fetishes to life", yo sorry gamers, but the only fetish i've seen is beastiality, basically you lead a ship of gorgeous girls to that will get fucked by aliens by your watchful eyes.

StudioFOW are animators, not adult devs, they don't know what we want, they know how to make a scene look good, and they know what a steam adult user that doesn't consoom adult content like us does.
Basically the sex is optional in the game, the thing is if the sex is optional, what's the main quality of the game ?
It's story ? Sorry but no one praised it so far, The gameplay ? The game doesn't even know what it wants to be ? A Shoot em' up ? an RTS ? A Visual Novel ?

I was hyped for Subverse back in 2019. But when they announced Pandora System... i pretty much lost all interest. The idea of sex scenes being unlockables is terrible in my opinion. This feels cheap and lazy honestly. There is no build up, no context, no dialogue. Nothing. I don't really need like Illusion style control and interactivity but sex scenes being in story, not outside of it. Those DAZ Ren'Py games gets it right. We unlocking scenes during story and then we can see them/replay them in gallery. Pandora System should be that gallery. Stuff like NTR should be optional but right now basically everything is optional and thats not a good design. Right now Subverse doesn't feel like a porn game but game with light porn elements. And i don't know if this is a good thing. Compared to those DAZ games, Subverse is just lacking despite way higher budget.

I only read reviews to prove what's in store in the game itself, turns out, people here had more accurate points than some of the dudes over at Steam Review page.

They wrote on the steam early access note that they were taking note from that new Baldur's Gate game, i.e. slowly release the game bit by bit throughout the entire early access, which they wrote will last about 12 months, so, fuck us for bought this game right now.. i think that was the true meaning of their release trailer..

What I did is just mute the whole game. I mean, pressing F1 (or whatever key you bind to control the overall sound on Windows).
If they had posted all their porn loops on pornhub there will be no need in their "game".
