Not, but, quarians in ME are/were always mentioned to be the most attractive species under the mask in the whole series. Besides, she is a cute killer machine kind of like Tali Zorah.
Also, it is clear that the game is based on ME a lot. I am not saying it is good or bad, just that, the similarities are there.

Except it's not based on ME at all, at least not in the gameplay, and frankly I don't see many similarities in most character designs.
One is a shooter, the other one is compilation of boring mini games just to get to only thing anyone cares about in porn game which is sex.

No because they have stated the whole game is inspired by Mass Effect, i assume you haven't played it if that was ur thought process. Quarians require a full suit due to their homeworld being sterile they have grown weak immune systems, being exposed to open air that is not from their world could kill them. Thus their suit and mask are essential to their survival much like Huntress, but since it's a lewd game they can't do the "suit" part so they leave her mask only.

Well, except the function of Huntress's mask is solely as a translator. She can live without it but nobody except her race would understand her... in a way you could count that as essential for survival but not in the same way as it is for the Quarians.
