so from a sea of games from engines like rpgmaker, ren'py,unity, and unreal engine games that use the most basic free assets, people still find a way to complain lol! im actually impressed this game got this far and of this quality, the game works and its simple. I dont think the game over promised lol yall act like its the no mans sky of porn so betrayed and entitled.
Yea I'm a certified Subverse hater but this dude is right. There's so much dogshit out there and Subverse is miles better even though I still wouldn't consider it good.
I just checked now and...40 euro...Yea nah fam, this thing is worth 10 euro at best. Even ARK survival evolved for 20 euro was better value than Subverse, and in the end I hated that game.
I think the issue is they're charging AAA money for a game with 100% meh gameplay and some fancy visuals (that last time I checked were choppy as fuck)...

other than the cinematic scenes, are there any other sex scenes not found in the P.A.N.D.O.R.A? Like the only way to view them is in the replay story viewer?

To have games of higher quality you need to put your money on the line, employ a lot of people what can be hit or miss, waste a lot of time for production and all of that for audience that isn't comfortable with spending money for porn or openly say they consider spending money on porn as stupid. Yes, Asia is different.

As I said years ago I was never interested in Studio FOWs work, their preferred fetishes never resonated with me. I backed them on KS because even if I wasn't interested in the game at all I thought they will open a gate for more ambitious western projects that will try to invest more into quality seeing the success of Subverse.

Studio FOW however betrayed us all, when they realized they can't control comments on KS they stopped updating there and moved to Steam and discord when they started massive banning. People who made the game a reality became their enemies. What was supposed to be a precursor to more advanced porn games became a PR and quality disaster that if anything will discourage others from attempting something like this again, all because of FOWs greed and ego.
The reason we don't see many big successful releases isn't an unwillingness to spend or FOW poisoning the well, it's because the entire industry has shifted towards a subscription model where nothing ever gets done.

Did they add an auto battle feature or something to skip combat?
I can stand the space one but I will never understand why they added turn based tactical combat in a PORN GAME (and I say it like that because I participated to the kickstarter and the focus was clearly PORN).

Things were like that even before Subverses campaign, and yes, you are right about subscription model being bad, but the shift happened a long time ago and I hoped for Subverse to change that.

Its more like, how much money you expect from patreon/ss/itchio? Very few have enough to have a team of full time developers to make a whole game from start to finish. People treat it like a hobby mostly, spending several hours a week mostly.

Anyone know the .ini line that needs to be added, or a workaround for Email/Key requirement to get the additional backer content that sits behind the $220 paywall? From what I've heard people that were a high tier backer just got an email to enable their backer content. So I'd assume all of it is in the base game, just locked behind some dork script.

If it helps narrow it down, the kickstarter called it Studio 69 DLC. It's supposed to be some night club you can take the waifu's to in the game. Some said you also get extra outfits and crap.

EDIT: Actually I did a little digging, and it appears that there is actually files that need to be downloaded. You get a steam key as one of the backers, that lets you download the DLC content. The content is located under:
Subverse\Subverse\Plugins\Smenchkin\Content
Subverse\Subverse\Plugins\Studio69\Content

Neither of these content directories exist without downloading the DLC. However, it also appears that StudioFow is having issues with steam, and their DLC's being posted for the game. So at the moment I guess no one has the content. So when it does drop hopefully a hero will upload the content for this thread.

Welp, did find a cheat engine table. It's not the best but it lets me have as many PP as I want and while I can't do anything with ground combat I can just give the girls a ton of xp and run a space battle with them since I can just use invincibility for that. After the space battle they just get max level so it's good.

Yo, if you, or anyone else for that matter, can get a save going where all the scenes are unlocked or something I'd really appreciate that.

I wish 40 bucks was AAA price. Those usually cost around 70-80 these days. 40 is AA pricing.

Edit: Regardless of what you think of the game or these kind of walls.
That was a Kickstarter Reward.
Just like I won't be able to purchase and own tarot cards based on a VN Kickstarter that I wanted years ago.

It's the reason why the game is here to be pirated anyways.
And I Say this as a Torrenter, Pirate, Kickstart and Patreon/Subscribestar Supporter of a Few Games.
