I am already in Act III. They just combined devotion and exp. If you look at the top right of your screenshots, you can even see they call it XP now.
And my other points still stand as well, except I did find that the gifts not giving devotion was a display bug instead. You open the squad menu, check the xp, go on a date with them, give them a gift, then exit the date and check your squad menu, the xp will NOT have gone up. BUT if you then go to another waifu page and then back, the XP updates and has gone up.
The next issue is that their personalized gifts give 300, and the random, non-specific gifts give 500. The official wiki hasn't been updated with any of the changes, as far as I can see. Maybe eventually...

The key here will be if they will take the feedback and criticism to heart and act on it in future games.

I would tend to agree with you to increase overall quality but not gonna lie I would prefer if the adult game industry stays in their own bubble.
Also many games are of high quality just alon here on F95. Lets be honest.
If the games production and recognition value becomes that big so that it finds its way into main stream its all over. xD
Chances are that many people in certain spaces would not be happy with it and start regulating it. Even more so than we have today.
On the other stuff you mentioned I agree. This game runs fine but is also grindy.(The age old complaint you read about every game)
The porn animations and models looking great but its all just in pandora. (Main complain to be honest)
The game would have been a top 10 porn games for me if it weren't for that fact, however they made it out to be an impossible challenge to integrate it in the story and it just overshadows the rest of fun I could have with the game. Not everything mind you but like half of the scenes. Give the player an incentive to give a shit about the story and to play the game. Create just a bit of a sense of immersion that this is a porn game and not just a game with cringe dialogue. Pandora is just not it. Plain and simple.
(Also let me add that Studio FOW were known for hardcore animations but in Subverse its almost stuff you could show your granny. Very tame.

I understand that many decisions have been made under the influence of being a business now and thats fine. They wanted to keep it safe but ultimately this was maybe what hold them back the most and you have now a very large group of people that are pissed for several reasons.
Also no. It's not just here on F95.
Dang it...I didn't want to post again xD The game won't change anymore even with possible DLCs.

Oh yeah, they take it to heart since the KS, that's why me and many others are perma banned on Steam discussions. Maybe they changed... no, wait, on the day of the 1.0 release they already cried to Steam to censor reviews and mark them as off-topic... again.

How many of them don't rely on DAZ or Honey Select assets, though? I think that's one of the things he was getting at. That we need more games of decent quality that are made from ground up and not totally build upon something else.
Anyone know how to cheat in more PP for the steam version? I tried using the save editor site but it doesn't load the edited save

To have games of higher quality you need to put your money on the line, employ a lot of people what can be hit or miss, waste a lot of time for production and all of that for audience that isn't comfortable with spending money for porn or openly say they consider spending money on porn as stupid. Yes, Asia is different.
As I said years ago I was never interested in Studio FOWs work, their preferred fetishes never resonated with me. I backed them on KS because even if I wasn't interested in the game at all I thought they will open a gate for more ambitious western projects that will try to invest more into quality seeing the success of Subverse.
Studio FOW however betrayed us all, when they realized they can't control comments on KS they stopped updating there and moved to Steam and discord when they started massive banning. People who made the game a reality became their enemies. What was supposed to be a precursor to more advanced porn games became a PR and quality disaster that if anything will discourage others from attempting something like this again, all because of FOWs greed and ego.

Studio Fow made both impossible to lewd because they hired SFW voice actress for both rolls.
This was really a dumb decisions.
Like many decisions they made in the development.
Mostly because daz/hs is for one dude product with low chances of making it profitable.
And they didn't outdo the industry. Like, half the artists in blener make much better looking content.
They can have them stay silent in pandora)

I mean, it still doesn't change that it's a relatively high quality game build relatively from ground up. What they've done during the development on the side notwithstanding, it'll be how well its gonna sell that will decide success or failure. Because from where I'm standing, how can anyone have been surprised how they acted behind the scenes. They've always been fucking cunts even back when they were still making videos.

So let me get this straight Choom... they made a high budget porn game, made 2 really hot female characters that are crucial for the story, and hired 2 actresses that WANT to work in the porn game, but dont wanna moan and make sexy noises...
