It sounds like you simply don't have much experience with hentai games that do have gameplay. There are lots of gameplay filled hentai games that are primarily focused around their porn content, yet people who primarily play them for porn are still able to enjoy the gameplay aspects of the game. Rance's sometimes awards you a sex scene (through the story) from finishing a battle/quest, while also allowing you to engage them through dialogue and side conversations. The same applies to Demonion. In fact, none of the sex is locked behind quests or awards. You recruit girls the same exact way you do in Subverse. You just have the option to do side content with them until they want to fuck you, then you can have different kind of sex scenes with them, or have them fuck other people/monsters. Demonion is actually very close to Subverse's format, except it doesn't use a weird Pandora-like system.

No, that's something you two need to learn to do. Studio Fow's devs and staff refer to it as a porn game in their own Discord servers and do not correct people to not call it a porn game when replying to posts there. This is something solely being pushed by you. Them talking about how much gameplay ideas they have for it doesn't magically mean we have to call it something else and can't critic the porn as much as we normally would. You'd never make this kind of argument in their discord. The mods, any devs that were online, and the regulars that love the game would call you out on this stupid stuff.

Dude some of the most popular things in the world just aren't appealable to some people. Some people don't like sports, some don't like Marvel movies, this could be the most perfect game ever, and there will still be some people that will say 'meh doesn't deserve it'. That's the point I'm getting at. As many people that complain about aspects of the game, I can find just as many that love it. Its gonna be divisive in the end no matter what.
