I just tried the new update and it's actually pretty bad. I can't understand why it took them 6 months to release a 1-2 hours long update, with that few new scenes and that lack of improvements in the preogression, with nothing more than a little interface overhaul.

Very few new pandora scenes compared to the Elaisha update

Yeah there was less scenes this update, the focus was more on other areas: QoL, UI improvements, that taron play mechanic thing where you can pet her and play with her and whatever, combat balancing, missions designs.

That is good idk why people forget it's a game and not just "scenes".

Because the sex scenes and interactions was the game's biggest selling point and advertisement from Fow themselves. It was their biggest form of critique from people because that's what everyone went in for. I don't know why we keep pretending people are here for anything but the girls, the sex scenes, and the interactions with them.

That being said, I haven't gotten to play the update yet myself. I'll be playing it in a few hours and come to my own opinions then.

Ha ha oh wow, It took them 6 months to release 2-3 hours worth of content (if you're feeling generous and count the side quests too). Well I guess we should be thankful to Studio FOW for not wanting to waste too much of our time on their crappy eroge.

Has anyone posted the Pandora scenes anywhere?

Not that I've seen. I did a quick playthrough of update and there aren't many new Pandora scenes added. Each girl only has around 4-8 new scenes. About half of that number are dupes of already existing scenes released with other girls, except the angle is changed a bit, and very small differences like finger shape. It's the same as last update.


The new horse man Mantic, Equincox, only has one scene. It's with Lili and it's just a model swap again.


Like the other poster said, the update really is only about 1-2 hours of content long. At least half of that time is just padded out side quests that are the usual ship and ground battles. You get some unique dialogue in some side quests from the usual meme NPC's, but that's about it. They did say that this update was supposed to mostly be QOL changes, but I don't know why it'd take 6 months for what they added. The actual story update is only about an hour of content, and mostly because it's it's padded with dialogue.

Except Ela came out October 21st, and not counting December since it’s a holiday month and they actually treat their employees well unlike most game devs, it’s actually only been:



so they’re actually on schedule. Good attempt at a zinger tho.

As another said this update does feel like it fleshed out the gameplay part more. The reason why I think Ela’s content felt bigger is because it introduced an entire race, a planet, and several cinematics. Taron’s is a quick heist and a boss fight. Which is fine, every girl shouldn’t have a similar recruitment style.

killi’s was a treasure map hunt, Ela’s was a planet defense run and porn video shoot, and Taron’s was a stealth mission. Sounds to me like a good variety (that thing people have been asking for in its gameplay).

The smut will be the usual target, but the 360 scene shows they’re willing to experiment. It’ll depend on customer feedback to see how they proceed with that information. And as we know they’re working on the Pandora system as a whole but that isn’t something that’ll be switched out upon a single waifu update. If I had to bet it’ll be its entire own singular update, after every lady has been recruited. But that’s just a guess.

yeah its kinda sad that this is all the game is. Its bad enough when its only 3 second loop gifs but reusing same scenes is just lazy. All the hype from the initial release is gone now.

At least the scenes are of good quality tho so its still enjoyable.

Given that they lied/exaggerated what we'd get for past updates, I wouldn't put my hopes up that their Pandora update will be anything meaningful. The fact that they can't give us a clear statement on what they'd even HOPE to change about it shows that they themselves either don't know where to go with it, or want to leave some convenient wiggle room of not actually promising things.

Remember that one patch they hyped up as having over 20 new Pandora scenes? I do. More than half of the scenes were duplicate model swaps. It was more like 10 new scenes when you didn't count the dupes.

This. Giving girls the same kind of scenes is fine, but it's how they're going about doing it that's shady and lazy. Instead of releasing that one hip job scene with Equincox for each girl in one patch, they'll only release it for Lili in this patch. They'll then release it for one or two of the other girls in another patch and pretend it's a brand new scene. This is how they can fill the check box of saying each update brings at least 10-20 new scenes, despite them all being duplicate model swaps. It's essentially lying by omission when they advertise that the next patch will have [insert number here] of scenes, but in reality only a fraction of them are new.

At least the scenes are of good quality tho so its still enjoyable.

Some are really nice ideas and sex positions, but them still being short loops wastes their potential. The fact that there is no roadmap for what they plan to do makes it obvious the loops are never going to change. Pandora scenes lacking context and them being short loops has been their biggest critique to date. They have avoided directly addressing whether or not they'll do anything about them since EA, and it's pretty obvious why they won't directly address it.
