If you're wondering why the game doesn't seem to be loading the save game file from the commonly mentioned directory:
that's because the game isn't loading the save game file found there.
Check here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\steamidnumber\1034140\remote
there should be a file named: SubverseSaveGame001
just like that, no file extension, replace that file with the save game you want to use.

I think this is only the clean Steam files from cs.rin.ru? You also need a auto cracker to crack it before launch.

That's what happens when people post clean steam files. It isn't cracked, it has steam DRM.
You can't play it until you crack it or someone else posts the crack.
If anything, just put your dick in the pants and wait.
You can never be too sure what people post on here when it comes to games on scale of this, the hype surrounding the game and desperation of some people to get their hands on a working game.

Alternatively just buy the game. This isn't usual case of VN posted on patreon or whatever that you can plug and play.

I expected my old saves to not work but it still took the wind outta my sails knowing i gotta do it all over again for the fresh coomer content..... time to fire up cheats and run it back.

I'm a programmer and I verify their releases all the time, never once have I found anything remotely suspicious.
Maybe they've had some suspicious uploads before that I haven't heard about but for me personally I never had any problems.

skidrowreloaded.com it's safe....I've been downloading games from that site for years and nothing has ever happened to me

The whole website itself is suspicious. For starters, they are fake. Using actual cracker group names to lure people like you in. How are you even a programmer if you are so naive?
Sorry to tell you this but your computer is probably full of adware and other kinds of viruses.
The guy who posted the link in previous page here stole it from another certain russian forum. It is not his upload and original uploader is much more trustworthy than sites that use scene group names(for example "skidrowreloaded").
