So I downloaded 27GB for the game to go from 49 to 35GB

Even if they changed the grind from 40h to 20h that is still 20h of grind that we have to do again. I think most people just want to be over with the game, finish the story see the added scenes and be done.
If it was impossible to have old saves work there should be option to start from last patch.

I find it novel that people don't want to replay this, but will replay plenty of other games or grind away time in MMO's. Like there is no rush here, and they took all that feedback about the grind into account and adjusted the experience. Is it too much to ask you give it a look and see?

That is fairly normal. Game downloads new assets or exisiting ones tied to the thing it's trying to overwrite or is tied to. Considering a complete game was uploaded, its bound to happen.
Size going down isn't uncommon either. Means devs have removed unecessary garbage that was just bloating the game files and left only things that matter.

Lol, there's nothing to defend. Anytime a game's save files isn't backwards compatible is because the adjustment to the game was too Large, which is generally a GOOD thing. You don't really play betas expecting saves to be compatible through the whole development process.

It was an in-development title. How many betas have you played where your rank carried into the actual release? it is not an uncommon thing for EA games to wipe progress upon its completion.

It was an in-development title. How many betas have you played where your rank carried into the actual release? it is not an uncommon thing for EA games to wipe progress upon its completion.

Don't use beta and early access interchangeably. it was early access.
I don't recall any serious early access games that wouldn't carry progress into release.

It is not RPGM title. It is absolutely possible to detect save version and then do a conversion upon loading.
But there is simpler way that newbie devs use to not force people to play from start again- provide option to start from last patch / version.

No the game haven't female/futa MC. but, waifu can be Futa in Pandora when you unlock scene

Guys - most of us are not here for ~the immersive game play~ and while its fine that you might be, it's also weird that you think this is somehow the norm for games where the primary goal is to get off, and then go do something else.

such silliness. Dev's do Not make extra work for themselves to intentionally make Single player game saves incompatible when it doesn't earn them anything. It's not intentional.

Maybe, but the goal of this project was to make a game with smut, not a smut game. There's a difference between and other VN's where you just speed through text to get to the bonking. You are meant to play it.

You want to skip it that's your perogative, but your opinion on it wouldn't mean that much considering you're ignoring a good chunk of it.

I would at least do enough to unlock the mantics, as some of the later ones are good, but costly to make.

Download is around 38GB.
