No new characters, but are there at least new scenes for existing characters in this update? The devotion quests aren't actually interesting to me since they don't feature any porn (yet)

No. That was only ever floated as a possibility for characters that need to catch up (aka Taron). So I don’t expect the pandora section to be complete til 1.0

It’s primarily for the gameplay feedback (because it is still in early access lest we forget). They want to save the best stuff for last.

Since these devotion quest scenes all seem to be between a girl and the captain, I'm assuming they're all gonna be vanilla B/G stuff. Pretty boring and lame for a company that made their name for more out there stuff with beasts and creatures.

Restarted seeding it now. Unfortunately I cannot seed 24/7 and there aren't enough seeders quite yet. I do hope people will keep seeding as the files are already in their uncompressed and playable state (you can play while seeding).
I miss when FOW did legendary animation instead of this wet fart of a game.

Very misinformed, mantics were a part of the game from the start. But they are solely within Pandora, and do not have any smut scenes during the story.
