Sure, that'd be true if we're grading on a curve. But honestly, there are a lot of games on this site and the majority of them are 1-2s at best. It's no different than Steam or most other platforms.

Personally, this game bored me to tears, nearly made me have a cringe induced stroke, and didn't even give me a boner. I can't see there being a single universe where I'd manage to finish this game without being forced. That first point is admittedly an issue with many other porn games, but at least I can asset rip them or view their smut online and still have a good time. Doing that for this game just left me even more disappointed. It's clear that 90% of the effort went into everything that wasn't the porn. But none of that is even any good, so...

The best I can say about Subverse is that is has good production quality and seems to be well made from a technical standpoint. Doesn't mean that's it's anything higher than a 1 to me if I got no enjoyment from it.

Honestly, the best way to describe this game is to use a line from the Witcher show. "It's like ordering a pie and finding it has no filling". It's especially poignant given that this game does admittedly look like a very good pie at a glance until you actually dig in to it.

I'm personally just waiting for the full release, just so I can see it not really change much, even though they promised it would. It's gonna be hilarious to me. This game has been such a dumpster fire, it's just fun to watch it burn.

I honestly haven't played this since the first or second update. Just figured it wasn't worth jumping from patch to patch, especially since I can't buy it and couldn't be assed to torrent these huge ass files.

I'll see what I think of the game then, but I can't help but think some people have hyped themselves up way more than I did and thus ended up incredibly disappointed.

Expectation management matters and the hype is 100% one of the big issues.
I mean, the devs called it "revolution" and promised the "highest possible quality" back in the days on their kickstarter. Of course people will expect something and if you add a few (very) questionalbe game design choices on top of that, you get a really bad rating.

It's a certainly decent game for casual players and it'll make a good number of people look out for other NSFW games, too.

I didn't expect anything more than their movies on a grander scale, but with about the same amount of depth. Which is to say, not that much. Their stuff always felt like Taimanin at home.

I think it’s just a touching moment cuz they’re some of the last of their species. Maybe it’s a good ending where their home world gets fixed and is habitable again.

Can someone please tell me where to find gameplay videos with no commentary i like the story and I have been trying to find them but it is hard the only place I found it is on YouTube but I want uncensored and with no complications with the videos
