You're right people don't cry about tentacle hentai. But that's because works with tentacles are heavily advertised as such. Every doujin with tentacles will have them front and center, so people know what to expect. If you have a vanilla romcom work then suddenly it ended with tentacle rape on your love interest, 100% sure there will be endless bitching in the comments.

The problem is Studio FOW advertised their game as "waifu collector." Some peeps enjoy seeing their waifus defiled, others are more protective. But the existence of complaints meant that some people surely felt misled about what's in the game.

I'm not surprised there's tentacle/beastiality crap (since it's Studio FOW), but not every casual on Steam would know this. They see waifu collector porn game and go "Oh neat, time to romance some waifus." Then the waifu they're chasing mentions how last night was so awesome with a certain eldritch abomination and yeah, cue them saying "fuck this cuckold shit."

I don't actually care for quantity of scenes... I just want them well-integrated into the story for more sensuality and character-developing. Character randomly being anal-drilled on a table means nothing without proper context. Subverse can have five scenes total for every character and I wouldn't care, so long as they have leadup and are FAPPABLE.

Exactly - right now there is zero romance in the game, and I wouldn't even call the girls waifus at this point given the nature they have exhibited so far (hopefully it will change) - it's currently just an open, fuck everything world for the girls. Zero relationships, zero emotional attachment, and as you and others have noted, some people are into that - they want attachment, relationship development, romance, etc. not to see a female character they're getting attached to talking about how she took a pounding by multiple dudes in a brothel a few years back, or how much she enjoys taking her work on Mantics home with her for playtime.

I still really like Zimon's idea from an earlier post on this page about giving options for the player that would affect the type of content in the game and the things that the girls do. The biggest issue outside of Pandora (and the bad porn) to this point is how SFOW tried to check every box at once, and when you try to make everybody happy, you generally end up making nobody happy. I think some folks have given good suggestions on how to fix things. Just gotta hope SFOW listens.

The doujins had been funded and released by FOW over 2020. Bit late to the show there m8. But they are splendid (Non-canon), more darker tales. I especially am fond of Butcha-U's (match made in heaven with FOW) The Hatchery. All about aliens fugging DEMI up the ass and getting her space preggers :p

Here here. All that hype and nothing feels refreshing or groundbreaking. Just feels run of mill with only benefit of being semi high production values.

For me the main problem was more about events.

let's recap : when you reach a planet on the minimap you can either have three choice :

1) Space Battles

I really liked it. The fact that you can custom your alternative fire depending of your selected waifu is nice.
Bossfights are also great, they just need to keep adding more of it throughout the game.
customization of enemy factions is also a nice touch although it's unequal between factions.

- Fuckbots are the best with their Kamikaze attacks and close combat tactic
- Pirates are more into bullet madness and tons of weak space ships harassing you. Their biggest ship is also really fun with it's tendency to run into you, pushing aside asteroids like billiard balls.
- Empire is the more bland faction. Their biggest ship is cool with it's aoe attack but the rest is really forgettable. They need to give more customization to this faction, like making their ships long range snipers, forcing player to take risk by going close to their ship.

I would add also the possibility to increase difficulty of space Battles. It would really suit factions and I think especially the pirates and fuckbots by creating a real "you're overwhelmed" situation.

2) Ground Battle

I liked it but less than spaces battle. Ennemies and map are too generic and it lacked also some epic bossfights. We also need to be able to upgrade our mantics because right now they can level up but there is no custom upgrades.

3) Events

Basically some text and sometimes some reward like credits.
They need to change events by something else. It would make the game more interesting because currently it's useless.
Moreover, I think Space Battles and Ground Battles can feel repetitive because of those useless events. They need to add a third thing. No idea what, but it would suit me more.

This could be placeholder stuff, and maybe replaced with events such as you had with the crabman etc. Then again, this aspect of the game kinda borrowed heavily from Mass Effect. And I do remember playing that and have such small text box events as well...

It enables you to add however many points you want.
CE allows the user to change address values the game stores in it's code and memory.
Since RAM stores data in random points for each app and gets cleared when the app shuts down, you need to find the values every time you restart the game.
Or you can do what i did... scan the game's code for Offsets which are designed to Read the values and hijack that link to automatically find the correct address. Like tracking a phone signal. Just... a lot easier.
in programming those are called Pointers. since they, you know, Point to the address.

TL DR; yes. you can use this to do whatever you want. Add 999999 or just Freeze it and have unlimited (by clicking the [ ] box).

Biggest problem of this game for me are the pacing.
I can stomach the somewhat (at times) cringy dialogues/jokes, but the way the lore is presented is just bad sometimes. I'd rather have a short introduction at the beginning or descriptive cinematic(s) rather than having this senator guy endlessly spitting lore...
Overall nothing mind-blowing, but good nonetheless. Gonna have to wait for more tho, which is kinda sad.

so quick question and a tad spoilery, how far story wise has the game reached? ive beaten the huntress and no new missions so im assuming thats the end of the early access?
