This is indeed my big point of criticism, too. I know, nowadays talk is incredebily cheap and this kind of stuff works really well to get people on board, keep them hyped and make them spend money, but it'll inevitable make those angry, who expect that to be objectively true and then get something, that's about as good, maybe a little better, as what's on the market in some areas and quite worse in others.

There's simply a correlation between what you promise and what you deliver.

Yeah but just this whole discussion over whether porn needs a story or not behind it is like the old pizza delivery guy/plumber coming to a housewife's place. Like premise is one thing, but not everyone needs a life story.

That being said, you are getting to know these character's life stories. Much like in Mass Effect, over time. So are the current Pandora scenes contextless (aside from the Recruitment scene), yeah. But as they explained, its only a small bit of it, plus it was just kinda added to get the system running. It can improved, and they see everyone wants it to be improved. So just relax and wait to see, ya know?

Moreover this game was branded as a porn video-game, so people expect at least some interactivity with porn scenes.

One way to do it, it to give some context to those porn scenes and to link those porn scenes to the story.

For example, I think that the recruitment scenes (expecially the one with killysion) were without a doubt the best scenes of the early access, because we had context.

Well, it seems many want to remove the mechanics that allows for that interaction, or lead up to it. You know the things you had to do to earn your romp with Killysion...Remove that, and all you have left is "press next"... And then you don't really have game any longer.

They already said they would add more fringe kink content to the game. And I suspect that could be far more "in your face" shock value than the xeno beasts already had people cry over. If you integrate that as a part of the story and throw it in peoples face without it wouldn't make it any better. At least now people get given a choice.

A game dev a couple pages back, I think his username was 'Zimon' or something similar, had a great suggestion to deal with that - you simply make it choice based, which adds replay value, injects context into the xxx content for the game, allows the player to feel like they're shaping the story, and the captain's personality a bit as well.

Pandora is terrible and offers no context within the narrative, so yes - a branching story is what should have been done to begin with.

Pretty much better than all their SFM results but running realtime on the 970 1080 @ 30 FPS yes maybe but in their Animation quality target with multiple chars.
