They could argue so that japanese steam players cant get their hands on it, but its just plain lazyness. they didnt want to bother to release multiple versions for different regions and telling valve which version to region lock

Dude Are you mental? Its literally Called "Early Access". They told u from the start that they will not be adding any more then 1 Act to the game until full release. So what the fk are you crying about.
Thank for confirm what I been saying about early access earlier. I don't care when the next acts for BG3 arrive. The important thing they good when they done. Just as with Subverse and people moaning about lack of content for "early access" game. Some people trying to apply a narrative that its "common" for early access games to get updates every 2 months, when there is absolutely no standard what so ever in that regard.
No as that's just technically impossible, even if you used one of the combat waifus for everything, at best you could get them to 14 or 15.
Germany is locked because of German laws.... you are not allowed to buy smut!.... or rather, I think its due to Steam not have an age verification system that Germany agree with. So, they disallow people to buy such games there.
As stated above, Germany's laws are silly. And as for manual saving, you won't really need it, as the game autosaves pretty much whenever there's a big loading screen.
