Actually they said early October, technically the first half of October. Now that might not be way off but the delays are piling up and maybe some people might find that annoying.

Yes they gave a window, which isn't a guarantee. Also what other delay has there been besides Streemster, which is not in their control?

I'm sure enough people have asked for F/F scenes (I can attest to seeing plenty of that in discord) that they noticed. They've said they want to reach as many kinks as they can outside of the super taboo ones, so I'm sure you'll get fed eventually.

I came with popcorn to see if anyone was complaining about the xeno screenshot in the dev diary. But all I got was people arguing semantics about the patch release date.

Xeno, no xeno, the 'Pandora' sex in this game is staler than any popcorn could ever be. Hit a release date, miss a release date...who cares. When they decide to overhaul the DOA Pandora system, I will sit up and take notice.

Considering there's Xeno, Gangbang and quite a few non-captain scenes you'd get the full brunt of it, and even if you CTRL skip through it, you can't even pretend only the scenes you want are canon. I'm honestly willing to bet the answer is no, even if you hate Pandora.

Pandora, the concept of unlocking scenes because people have different tastes is self awareness on their part. Though mentioning those scenes in the main game shows a lack of commitment to this ideal.

The scenes have no dialogue, and there is no pacing though. I'd also prefer it if you could have sex with the girls naturally as you play, but I wouldn't want to see hardcore content if I could help it.

The scenes having dialogue, a beginning, middle and end would make them more erotic. Erotic integration aside it would help bring context imo.

This has been suggested to no end. A check box at the beginning of the game and main menu to turn that stuff off easily solves the problem, without having to gimp content for everyone. Of course, there's always just making it avoidable in-game through obvious dialogue choices or making them game overs. Demi already makes references to being okay with fucking other people on the Captain's crew, or flat out just says so. She offers it to guys like Dallik a couple of times already. It doesn't make sense that the devs are trying so hard to effectively hide the sex version of this content away in Pandora from those who don't want to see it, but still has the story dialogue mentioning that someone like Demi will still gobble anyone's cock on demand.





The simple solution is there but it's become extremely obvious that they don't plan on changing their decision.

The answer is yes, a million times yes. No story, no sex scenes can please every consumer. Have your concept/vision and stick to it. If you try to please everybody, inevitably you will end up pleasing nobody. And while I can't say Pandora is a system that pleases nobody...I've seen some people sing it's praises...it's so much weaker than any other animation in that game, and so much worse than any other video FOW has done, it really sticks out like a sore thumb.

With that choice though all scenes are canon whether you watch or not but with Pandora you can pretend they don't happen for the most part.

What you listed are problems that can be solved on a design level in my opinion.

It is possible to create an adult game with hardcore beast content as well as vanilla and also give in-game context to those scenes so they don't feel separate from the main game.

Ofc it can be solved on a design level. Everyone knows that. Everyone here, on KS, in steam discussions, everywhere tbh gave a feedback about this and Studio FOW still somehow tries to convince us Pandora is the best solution to the problem.

I also agree that Pandora as is, isn't serving its purpose. I'm just saying that a lot of people are already very critical of the game on an adult content level so seeing these same people ask for direct sexual content integration doesn't make sense to me.

Ya, with the way some of the fringe content is forced into the dialogue, it makes it so the intention of Pandora as you mentioned above, is impossible when it comes to Lily's character. Even for players who want to have a 'head-canon' of no beast stuff for Lily, it's impossible to avoid when it's being openly mentioned during the game's script.

Take three latest games i have played for example - EraTohoTW, Degrees of Lewdity and Asylum. EraTohoTW is pretty much design your own scenes but even at current build game allows you turn on/off pregnancy and events of getting raped. Degrees of Lewdity allows you to change bestiality into monster girls/beastmen, turning off worms, adjusting gender of npcs... everything. Asylum, a bit different approach, it warns you before triggering a scene that it's urination/scat and asks if you want to view it. No? Event doesn't trigger, it never happens and is never mentioned. Simple solutions. And here we have Pandora.
