Hours of dialogs? Hours of cutscenes? Maybe one hour combined, and only if you are into listening one seriously overused joke. And of course thanks for hours of repetitive shmup and grid. On the other hand, i could have just started the game from begging and have same repetitive shmup and grid, without this ultra necessary update.

I don't get you, the stuff you're complaining about could easily be applied to any game. What did you want from this project? Does it have be Lord of the Rings to qualify for time spent?

I stated many times that if they already have a typical VN-style storytelling, and nothing of "porn ME" they bragged about, they can fucking look at VN games and understand that porn in games need plot. This game has no porn in it. So what is left? Boring side quests, repetitive jokes and thats all.

First of all, that's a stupid argument to take. That's like saying nobody should be able to criticize any other video game, TV show, or movie. Yeah, just don't boy it.

Secondly, my post didn't even mention liking it or not. All I'm saying is your constant reply that they were making a video game and not a porn game is flawed. Studio Fow's staff has referred to it as a porn game on Steam and Discord, so YOUR argument doesn't stand. I already showed you this the last time you tried pulling this too. A porn game doesn't mean it can't have gameplay or story either. Rance and other big hentai franchises balance this out quite well, such as Rance. I also showed you this. I don't know why your brain goes into reset mode and you forget these points.

It's not flawed when the creators stated it several times themselves. It's a game foremost. It wouldn't matter if pandora is what it is, or if it had half hour clips with the extremes. You would still need to PLAY THE GAME to unlock those scenes. The game focus more on actual game play than straight up sexual content. I also told you several time, what a thing is and what you want it to be, is two different things too.

I posted screenshots showing you how much they emphasized that it was a porn game before they changed changed their narrative an entire year after deciding they wanted to put things only in Pandora. I even showed you screenshots of staff referring to it as a porn game through their discord and other pages. The best you could one up with is one of their devs in an interview talking about all their gameplay plans, as if that means it's any less of a porn game?

At the end of the day, you're just making this arguments that the devs themselves haven't gone out of their way to make that kind of stance on. It's just your easy excuse to damage control and deflect any form of criticism you can't scapegoat as unreasonable. You just say that it's a game with porn, as though suddenly people's posts are invalid? Rance right now has more gameplay mechanics then plenty of other tactical RPG's and even Subverse itself. Is it suddenly not a porn game?

If you watched any interviews the devs did during the campaign, you'd have seen and heard what you were getting.

porn in games need plot: yes, sure, but not all of it. Take Treasure of Nadia for instance, there are sex scenes involved in the story, but there's also a booty call feature that just brings the girl of your choice to your room, and can then view a few scenes you unlocked throughout the game. That is essentially what Pandora is already.

The story of Subverse is rebelling against a puritanical empire using sexy women, and that isn't a plot?

Boring side quests, repetitive jokes and thats all: That is subjective, and your opinion. I don't know every character or meme they referenced or make fun of in the side quests or mention in the planet descriptions, but the ones I do, I enjoyed.

Has anyone who has the game on steam been able to use the Unreal Unlocker program for that version?
I tried a while ago before the new update but couldnt really get it working but when I tried on the pirated version it worked fine. I dont really want to download the game twice to fuck around with the camera but i guess if i get bored enough I'll end up doing it anyway.

The cinematics are separate files, so you couldn't alter them. There'll be costumes eventually to spice them up in dialogue scenes and in Pandora.
