That is what the loyality missions will be for though... Something they stated a long time ago.
Sure, the devotion quests are intended for that, no doubt, the issue for some folks, though, is when the dialogue and codex has instances where the girls talk about taking monster dicks or sex with monsters is referenced despite the player not ever unlocking the related xeno scenes, that's a bit of a turn off for a percentage of the audience even if you don't have to watch the scenes.
So that's what people mean when they talk about the dev trying to do a little too much / make everybody happy with conflicting preferences, etc.

Except they haven't. Like the closest thing is Ela mentioning that the mantics are ugly, but their dicks look delicious. Which coming from the pornstar that wants to try out new things, is rather in character.
You just contradicted your statement - saying they haven't and then citing a direct example where they have. Let's not do this thing again where you act like the stuff isn't in the game, and then someone comes along and posts screenshots of it. I'm sure the dialogue from and about Lily along with the codex is still in the thread some pages back.
It's fine that it's not an issue for you, but some people don't like it. And there's nothing wrong with pointing that out or chatting about it.

That's not a contradiction, find me a statement where they're having a convo with the captain and they just suddenly bring up the mantic they just got done banging. I didn't say it doesn't happen, to me Pandora's scenes are what occur during the time the story takes place. But they do not throw it in your face.
Don't even have to pull the conversations then if you're just looking for evidence that it's occurring on the Mary Celeste as it's in the Codex -

Here's a conversation the Captain has with Demi about Lily early on in the game even if the player doesn't unlock any xeno scenes:
Demi confirms this is happening "constantly".
And here's the Lily related chats indicating that her doing monsters in her past is canon. It's not something the player can opt out of at any point in the story.
So bottom line this isn't a debate. The facts are the facts.

Didn't say she was, so don't move the goal posts. You asked for evidence and it was provided.
It never made sense for them to try act like things were optional. They're not. And that's all I am and others have pointed out.

I had originally signed up on F95 to specifically ask some questions about this game related to the xeno stuff as I'd really like it to not be there. I would buy the game and leave a positive review of the game on either GOG or Steam if they made those items truly optional. I've continued to follow the thread in the hope that some changes would be made but probably not I'm guessing.

Ya you know what, I'd buy the game too if they made all of that stuff completely optional and got it out of the dialogue and codex. Like you, I have similar doubts it will ever occur, though. It's all good though, I respect the creative freedom of others - as I've noted in the past, Studio FOW owes me exactly nothing. Just as I owe them exactly nothing. But I do enjoy backing studios and indie devs when they give me things I really like and want more of. I'm backing a couple on Patreon currently.

No one is saying you have to watch any scenes. It's the narrative dialogue and codex that are IN YOUR FACE even for people who opt out of the scenes and that's the point - opting out of the scenes should mean the references to it are excluded from the narrative. This has been stated over and over and over, no one is saying otherwise.
With fringe content, yeah it does make a lot of sense to put it behind some kind of a choice system. Not everyone wants to hear about the girls getting porked by monster dicks

People have shown PROOF in the game of what they're saying. That doesn't mean you can't like the stuff you like, and these ppl aren't saying the stuff should be removed from the game altogether, but you just keep gaslighting and trying to act like their points aren't factual even if you find the facts of the matter irritating, they are still the facts.
I am in this boat as well. I wasn't sure what the game would be initially when it was launched so that's why I waited to play it on F95. Glad I went that route. Count me in the group that definitely won't buy this as long as this content is being openly talked about and in the ship database, etc. Would support the studio with this game though if they ever removed it or just made it optional.
