I don't understand how the crack works, it open steam when i try to launch it, do i have to buy the game for the crack or ?

As far as videos go it probably isn't happening because of the Patreon ban making monetization difficult. That's probably why they made the game in the first place, can't use Patreon so the next best thing is Kickstarter and digital distribution like Steam.
Finances are probably why the game is so directionless too. Everything about it screams "We want to appeal to the widest audience possible". Hence the early PR being a mess of trying to advertise it as both a vanilla harem game and a monster fucking game and the weird middle ground they attempted to have in the final product.
Subscribestar has been a thing for years. There was also that "Streemster" crowdfunding platform FOW wanted to launch alongside the game that's coming any day now

There's also sunk cost to consider now. They invested so heavily in Subverse that they're probably sticking to it for the foreseeable future, and if they start doing videos again they'll probably be Subverse related to funnel people back into buying the game or dlc.

I don't think polyamarous relationships is 'a weird middle ground', but I digress. No given creator wants to make the same thing over and over. That's why every film isn't just Kunoichi. Are most of them non-con? Sure, they're mainly inspired by Taimanin Asagi. But that doesn't mean every other project they do will be in that category.
They gave us commissioned doujinshi as part of the backing, most of which were non-con, non-canon works.
Also I don't think they'd solely do Subverse themed works after this, they're already spending 4+ years in this universe, they're definitely gonna be looking for fresh air after this.

are the cut scenes supposed to have no audio? or is it something with my settings? all other audio seems fine.

Cinematics should, unless you're tabbed out of the game or don't have it in focus
no, its in fullscreen, not tabbed. i am using "SmartSteamLoader_x64 - Shortcut" to launch, and when i open the videos in the folder via potplayer they work fine. they just don't work in game.

Kickstarter/Steam would not allow such content + FOW was quite open about the fact that there won't be rape content + I think there is big group of people, who would have ignore the project, if it would "embrace" such content.
