Interactions with the love interests are all on your tribe.Guys, How do I romance the Amazonian lady and Iola?
I'll ask which choices did you made. Home City, witch or hunters, summon the god of gifts or face the duchess, etc.Cool!
My bet is in that imp, but I have faith I'll like it regardless.
By the way Zion, how are you planning to carry the choices from game to game? Will the next game need a full save of the first one, or we'll have to answer questions at the beginning to clarify which path we took?
That works for now, but it may be a good idea to look into reading a full save. Assuming future chapters will also have similar choices you make, the number of questions asked are gonna add up. I imagine most of the decisions like this probably won't be carried over to the next Era, but even if we are going 1 choice a Chapter, game 5 would be opening up with a 20 question quiz.I'll ask which choices did you made. Home City, witch or hunters, summon the god of gifts or face the duchess, etc.
The next Era will follow a canon ending, as will any other Era. That's why anything that it's not the canon ending will be "Optional End 1/2/3", and the canon ending will be "True Ending".That works for now, but it may be a good idea to look into reading a full save. You mean this won't be another Planescape Torment? Don't be so lazy. The next Era will follow a canon ending, as will any other Era. That's why anything that it's not the canon ending will be "Optional End 1/2/3", and the canon ending will be "True Ending".
It's impossible for me to develop that many variations. Imagine the final Era, how crazy it would be lol
For the Era itself, however, these questions will suffice. I'll only ask the major ones for each game and consider everything else done, ending in the last game of the Era.
You will, don't worry. I know how important a character name and choices can be for a player.Damnnn, this project keeps getting intreasting. I hope that I can keep my characters name, I called my character Alexios(Going with the greek theme of the game).
There aren't enough bosses to cover for all overarching stories.
I received criticism like this before. Some people enjoyed, others didn't like it. It is what it is.
SC has a lot of information and stories that will connect. From your brothers to even another planet survivors.
Is it possible to implement a faster or refine the current skip option? My main gripe with the current one is that each time a new character talks, it loads a new text screen, which is a big slow down since the text screen itself isn't sped up - half of the skip time is new text screens being loaded. This is also the case for effects ex. when one of the planet survivors got drained by the royal succubus. Frankly, it would be nice if you could add a complete skip as that'd be faster and more convenient. After all, it does get tiring reading the same story for the third time during a re-play, especially when a new update drops. Probably would also help alleviate the issue with people complaining about the story being too verbose. That is not possible. After an area is cleared, you can just interact with a warrior to go back to the entrance, and probably missing out all the cutscenes.
And I can't throw all cutscenes at the same time, otherwise it will get very tiresome for the player.
Considering the overarching stories, this is the reason why I break them down into multiple parts distributed throughout the maps.
Soo from what I undestand I get to keep my character from Saga to saga. I also wanted to ask a spoilery question, but for some reason the spoiler button dosen't work. You will, don't worry. I know how important a character name and choices can be for a player.
The reason why the main series has a "blank" main character is exactly because I want the players to insert themselves in the story.
Ok that is good to know i thought i fucked up some where since i did not get that scene i have the ask how many love interests are there since i like the harem i am getting here. We have some damn good waifus so far. lolZion took the scene out so they could flesh out Iole's romance more in the game before jumping to the sex.
Four love interests in total for this era (20 chapters). When we move into the next era there will be new ones.i have the ask how many love interests are there since i like the harem i am getting here. We have some damn good waifus so far. lol
They are pretty tame copared to the succubuses in the game, but them I like their personlities. Espcially Iola who gives nicknames. If this game get voiced, I definetly know that Silky Milk fits the amazonian lady(Who with Iola is my fav here). And the sister of the Embodied looks intreasting.Four love interests in total for this era (20 chapters). When we move into the next era there will be new ones.
Those are the current ones:

Atessatia and Iole already have 1 quest each, starting on your tribe. And yes, I plan to have 3 quest per game for each love interest to develop them as best I can. They are pretty tame copared to the succubuses in the game, but them I like their personlities. Again despite their looks, their back story is intreasting. Hope that the Dev elaborates and expends on their backstory in the game. Iola is strighert forwerd, hope we get to know more the amazonian lady.
And another question for the dev , I saw the Incubus(Another cool charater), does he has a angel/arch angel male counter part??, and He is on Par with the Succubus queen or he is stronger???
There will be very little voiced lines because that stuff cost quite the money and there is way too much dialogue already in the game and it only gets worse. If this game get voiced, I definetly know that Silky Milk fits the amazonian lady(Who with Iola is my fav here). I've noticed but its in Japanese(Not that I'm complaining), I understand its a big game and voicing all the lines will cost to much. But if this game gets funds I suggest Silky milk to play amazonian lady, and the Succubus queen. There will be very little voiced lines because that stuff cost quite the money and there is way too much dialogue already in the game and it only gets worse.
The generals for an example have voiced lines.
And do u have a male arch angel counter part to the Incubi?Atessatia and Iole already have 1 quest each, starting on your tribe. And yes, I plan to have 3 quest per game for each love interest to develop them as best I can.
Incubi are stronger than the succubus queen. They aren't called 'Wondering Gods' for nothing. But they are very rare and each have their own pocket realm of existence, as you can see by going to the Gifted Mountain. They don't care about the Scorching Hell or demons at all. But they do like to challenge one another from time to time, just for fun.
It's possible. Supposedly, Astéri, Selene and Ílios were all Seraphim that made a huge impact on human society before they left, becoming Gods in the process.I've noticed but its in Japanese(Not that I'm complaining), I understand its a big game and voicing all the lines will cost to much. My own project is fine. It's also not relevant to providing you feedback on how to improve your writing. For someone who claims to be confident about his project, you sure get defensive about criticism. If you have so much time and energy to write long texts explaining how things should be done on other's people work, I suggest putting all this availability into your own project. It will be much more fruitful.
The making of a good writer is to be willing to make compromises for the sake of telling a fluid, coherent story. If a majority of people say your process is bad (as they have), then it's not those people trying to trample on your vision. It's people who see potential telling you that you need to work on your writing. You want to keep producing sub-par quality content, cool. Personally, as a writer myself, I would hate to have someone come to me and say "hey, man, your story has potential, but the quality of writing is really not up to snuff."I have a vision for this series, both how should be made and the story, and no amount of feedback will change that.
I'll preface this with noting that I hate the concept of "broader audience appeal." I think it's a cheap tagline by out-of-touch execs who have no actual investment in the media they're trying to sell. It only works if the people selling the product understand both the entrenched base that already exists, and how to respect that group while also seeking to bring more people into the fold. It's a tricky tightrope, so I have my qualms about the concept itself.People who share the vision will gather and people who don't will not.
I'm here only to answer questions from the community, because I know that when they can't support us, they gather here.
Have a great day.
Oh my, you surely invest a lot of time even though, based on your own sentences, it's a waste of time because the dev doesn't listen. From my point of view this would mean you don't care either about the reaction but you enjoy to talk to the air or something. My own project is fine. Then again, maybe the difference is pride in my work, and you lacking any in yours.

That said...
As a writer and someone who has multiple hobbies, I can't think of a more self-destructive phrase than "I only care about those who agree with me." You couldn't have said it more transparently than if you had typed out those exact words. You're the next Eromancer, bud. Over 3 years with little progress, and you started a second project with ambiguous intent. If you had been working with 3D renders rather than anime cg, I would have called you out on being the guy himself.
You're not coming here to do anything except satisfy your own ego and punch down at the critics. That's it. If you legitimately wanted to improve, wanted to receive real feedback, and sought to truly make the "pitiful poor" people feel acknowledged, neither you nor I would be investing any time in this specific discourse. You'd be ignoring the people who offer praise and ask the most obvious, low-effort questions. But, we both know you're only here to have your ego stroked. A shame, because as I've said several times already, your story has potential.
If my absence and the fact that I am only now replying hasn't indicated as much, let me spell it out. I have a life outside these forums. Providing you criticism to help you improve your writing is neither a lengthy venture nor too great a distraction from my current day-to-day. What I am attempting to offer is a carefully crafted bit of suggestions and insights to help you improve your writing and tell a more engaging story. You have not only refused to consider what the critics have said, but also shown contempt to anyone who doesn't immediately lay praise on you. Hell, you admitted that you went out of your way to harass someone who criticized your writing in a review.
At this point, I know it's worthless for anyone to send any kind of feedback that isn't blatant sycophancy your way. You're not here for anything but to have your ego stroked, and I see no value for myself or anyone who strives for quality in their content to engage you. You can reply if you want. I might feel inclined to read it, or not. But, as far as further discourse, you'll receive none.
Good luck, Eromancer Jr.
Ignore him, brother. This guy is so bitter that he made a review now just because he was angry with my reply. Like this would somehow affect me in the slightest lolOh my, you surely invest a lot of time even though, based on your own sentences, it's a waste of time because the dev doesn't listen. It's so tiresome to read your comments, there's always so much blaming and " I know everything and will teach you" vibes in the room. Could you just... work on your highly successful project plus increasing the focus on your real life, which would mean you are less active here for the sake of other people?
