Have you thought about having a love romance in the future who isn't fully human but has unnatural skin tone, maybe some horns or wings, maybe even being an angel? If it is about being worried how the PC would look in the next era (I would go bonkers too if I had to offer multiple appearances for the PC to not raise questions what's canon now or not)... just tell the people that the PCs genes are dominant and his descendants are always human.
Well, I do hope you reconsider and add some un-human romance, In a game where you have succubuses and sexy angel not to have at least one of them as a romance or at least a fling(With a succubus that dosen't kill u) is a tease. Having at least one angel or a sexy succubus as an ally could be cool. You can give our main hero a relic that can rein in one succubus(A strong one to be your ally, or it could be cool if we could somehow ressurect one of the beaten succubuses of our choise to join our crew). I legit liked blondie and her companion, and black rose(Im a sucker with thicc gothic women).

I just finished the 3rd chapter, amazing.
. and besides after heating how the belittle you and suck your companions dry, I would definetly want to revenge f*ck at least one of them. The full version of chapter 3 saw a lot of changes in mechanics and gameplay from its previous versions, which is why the saves weren't compatible. Unless other great changes like that are made, chapters 4 and 5 should be able to accept saves from chapter 3.

That works for now, but it may be a good idea to look into reading a full save. Assuming future chapters will also have similar choices you make, the number of questions asked are gonna add up. I imagine most of the decisions like this probably won't be carried over to the next Era, but even if we are going 1 choice a Chapter, game 5 would be opening up with a 20 question quiz.I'll ask which choices did you made. The next Era will follow a canon ending, as will any other Era. That's why anything that it's not the canon ending will be "Optional End 1/2/3", and the canon ending will be "True Ending".

Is it possible to implement a faster or refine the current skip option? My main gripe with the current one is that each time a new character talks, it loads a new text screen, which is a big slow down since the text screen itself isn't sped up - half of the skip time is new text screens being loaded. This is also the case for effects ex. when one of the planet survivors got drained by the royal succubus. Frankly, it would be nice if you could add a complete skip as that'd be faster and more convenient. After all, it does get tiring reading the same story for the third time during a re-play, especially when a new update drops. Probably would also help alleviate the issue with people complaining about the story being too verbose.

The reason why the main series has a "blank" main character is exactly because I want the players to insert themselves in the story.
