I think Zion mentioned the second game will be less linear, so fingers crossed on that. I think that the game would be more fun if it were less linear, but we'll see if/how that pans out in the next game.

Things shouldn't be fixed in a sequel they should be fixed in the next "chapter"! What's the point in making another game???? People love this game, all its in need of is an ease of life update and some new combat updates and it'd be stellar! WTF is the need for an entirely new game??!??
I mean...people here know that a second game is most likely just a cash grab right?
Don't have the drive or motivation to fix the already loved current game? Make another one and unload chapter after chapter of BS, again!

Jesus Christ, this dev is worse off than I thought. They seriously need to consider releasing micro-versions of their game instead of this, and pardon my language, f#cking stupid chapter BS. Its pointless and makes the already egregious waiting process even more asinine.
I don't understand what the deal is with Developers nowadays. They seem to function on a purely "the creator is always right" instead of a "the customer is always right" basis. Hence the reason why most of the top games on this site are updated into utter dogshit. Only game progress I'm following anymore that hadn't been screwed by its own creator is Succum Brewery, but I'm sure that dev will stumble somewhere too, they always do.
Sorry for ranting off about this stuff, but I feel like no one gets on these devs for their BS anymore. People love to use the excuse of "it's just a porn game bro" or "subscribe to their patron, then complain". But lest we forget my friends, these devs are making MONEY off of your DESIRE. Their whole JOB is to tempt you into buying/subscribing to their depraved shit every month, it's no better than a casino feeding off a gambler.
So, sorry not sorry, but I really don't feel any sympathy for any dev that feels entitled enough to put a price tag on a product targeted to vulnerable and mentally weak people, designed to manipulate their desire for cash.

"Probably" Is the key word here. I am just waiting for the next update apologizing to just say it will take the next month to be ready.
It's pretty frustrating that up until july 31st the release date was "late july" and then a pateron announcement that day saying half the planned features aren't ready and there will be a demo for chapter 5 optimistically in august but who knows actually when. Like if half this shit isn't done on the 16th of july you knew it wasn't going to be ready in 2 weeks. I wasn't too surprised because he consistently over shoots his deadlines by a month pretty much every time, but after 4 years you'd think you would be better at estimating how much can get done and communicating when things wont be complete in time instead of waiting until the last minute to delay it. Awful pattern of behavior.
