I'm not even going pretend that you're wrong, because you're right. Because, at first, I did feel it was a bit interesting that he wanted to go into the story and lore with this world of his. Like, that was neat. But then there's the whole side-projects (which is a MAJOR red flag when it comes to Patreon) and the fact that he's planning on making more games after this. Like, this is Generation ONE, meaning there's going to be a Generation Two, Three, etc. And yet, he's been spending more time working on Ch.4 out of those years. Like, that is extremely concerning.

All it does it just reeks of this dude having yes-men who make him think that this sort of stuff is excusable, when it really isn't. A game like this shouldn't be stuck in development hell.

For those of you who can't wait for some more goodness of this sort, I've compiled a little list of games with themes of evil or cruel succubi, that see people as nothing but food, happily torturing, consuming and killing them. I'll post it across these games' threads so people can find more of what they like ]:->

- Succubus Prison: House of Lewd Demons - the best Evil Succubus game there is. Horror theme, escape the house or get drained to death by the most gorgeous and evil succubi. - A Succubus Is Born - you get reincarnated as a succubus and can only survive by draining people to death. It's really well written, though rather slow and you have to grind to unlock more sexy stuff. I like most of these games thematically but in execution they are terrible,Im still waiting for a game that has good gameplay/combat/mechanics with good story/lore and is not stuck in development hell also known as lazyness or greed of dev.

On discord he said a while ago that Iness from his community was writing scenes for the Duchess, I guess he lost the string of the lies. This guy is definitely burned out from God knows what, since he barely put effort in this chapter (check my previous posts for clarification).
He implied that the supposed burnout comes from his previous game, Eden's Crest, however that game was a lazy mess as well, since 2/3 of the content was recycled and repeated all over.

I understand you dude,I've been telling since the early "delays" of his and the guy was nonchalant and outright aggresive about it here,he probably avoids coming here too much since people call him out for his bullshit.

Believe it or not I once talked to him and proposed some ideas like how to fix and maybe expand combat,he promised to make me a tester then he went radio silence,his scumbag attitude towards his fans later clarified to me that he is greedy and has a big ego,only thing I dont know is if he planned to milk and potentially scam his fans or if he changed his mind along the way,

The Tragedy of Porn Development

Western Dev: Today I will start developing a game idea I had and never finish it

Eastern Dev: Today I will pour my heart and soul into creating a game but insert loli characters for no reason.

Honestly I really had high hopes for Succubus Covenant since it was one of the first games I played on the site and really liked it. But I feel Zion has bit off more than they can chew and instead went off to do all these other random games and hire a bunch of different artists.

I think the reason very much speaks for itself, You wouldn't put lolis into your game if you were making one since you don't like them, so it's fair to assume someone who's into it would very much do the opposite, alongside catering to a specific audience, working on adding things you personally like does wonders for motivation.
