I swear I saw someone say there was way more new succubi in his server than I saw in the game files. I made it a habit for the past maybe two years? To just open it up and dig through the image files for the scenes to see what's new. Didn't find much. Shiki's succubus isn't even in it.

Keep in mind that Succubus Covenant is more than just some adult game; it's an entire saga.

This quote right here is my overall Issue with Zion.

Like I admire the ambition but what He's doing is essentially creating Elder scrolls V skyrim while creating Elder scrolls adventures Redguard while making Elder scrolls 1 arena at the same time. All with the team size or probably barely a handful of people. He's not only on step 1 but he leaps towards step 2, then -3, then 56, then 600, before going back to 2.

He realistically should have committed hard into SC1 before Warlock saga and whatever else he is making despite how Warlock Saga as a game runs circles around 1. sometimes I feel like people forget that that the "big game" in the franchise had a humble beginning that set the foundations for the big game to become such. I fear that by focusing on the saga part of the series rather than setting a proper foundation will lead to warlock saga to get worse over time should he continue down this path.

'I learned a lot over the years' I fucking hate reading this. He did not learn anything. He did not learn anything! Since 2019, nothing. Reading what he wrote here proves it, playing the new update proves it. If anything, the issues are even more glaring as the game progresses. I started playing from the beginning, and it pissed me off. Not because it's lacking, it is, but because obviously the guy has talent, he knows how to build an interesting world with decent characters and a compeling story, and due to his own ego, none of this will ever go anywhere. I noticed extra details on the first half of the game, things that were maybe added I don't remember it's been so long, and I can see the guy has, or had, a passion for this project, and that this would not be a cashgrab low-rate fap game (it still is a porn game, don't get me wrong). Unfortunately, he refuses to listen to any criticism, he is too lazy to work hard on his so called 'magnum opus', and he is unable to focus on what he's working on and he always starts side projects. Of course, at worst he's scamming us and sucking your wallets dry. At best, however, he is too incompetent to manage a project of this scope and these series will never reach its conclusion. Well I knew that, but I still wanted chapter five to deliver a satisfying conclusion to the first portion of the series. And you know what, it fucking didn't. It just kept introducing more and more shit. It concluded sure, but I'm out at this point. I just don't care anymore. If we ever see generation one completed, and that's a big if, who's to say it won't be like the shit we have now, starting off strong, with heart passion and atention to detail, and ending feeling tired and soulless. Anyway, enough ranting. I'm out, I just don't care anymore. I see no reason to keep following this game's development anymore, I never supported the dev and I'm proud of it. All this update did was show me that, at best, even if we are to look at it in good faith and do our best to try to understand where he's coming from, Zion learned nothing in these past few years and never will, which means this project is going absolutely nowhere.

I am a Thai game reviewer. And I like this game so much.
I've been waiting quietly for more than four years++. And this is what I want to say.......

I started playing from chapter 1 to chapter 5, and it took about 12 hours (2 day to finish)

What I noticed is that there are too many plant demons. There is too much I thought it was a "Plant Demon Extermination Game " than "Succubus Covenant".
I played this game and overall I really liked it, but chapter 5 was not good (i mean it too short but i love the story).

What I think the game should add is that each succubus H-scene should have Two scenes at least
and the game should have more succubus as monsters along the way than stupid plants lol.

I waiting for part 2 of chapter 5 that will give a better ending to the story such as Incubus or Final boss is dead for real.
What I like most in chapter 5 is Duchess because there are 3 H scenes It's very good because There's a blowjob scene. (i love BJ)

Finally, this I would like to encourage the creators and all the staff members that you did a great job in every part of SC.
I don't know how difficult it is to make a game. How difficult was it to do each scene? Especially the very long dialogue in the H scene.
To create a game that has a complete story is difficult. And it's more difficult than started.
Burnout at work or something else but I'll continue to follow Zion's work and plan to support him on Patreon.

This game has quite a large fan base. And this is just the opinion of 1 in a 1000+ or 10000+ people.
Hope Zion sees this post.

P.S.Waiting and hope to see a lot of content in part 2 of chapter 5.

I believe the gallery and the heroine scenes are going to be in the very last patch for the game, which is the next one. Zion posted that some way back in this thread aftter chapter 5 dropped.

As for the 2 years, we got Eden's Crest during the delay, which is an entire additional game.

I can't believe I'm seeing so many people complain about a femdom game actually finishing for once.

I barely come into this topic every now and then to see the update since it's story and world intrigued me, but as I recently heard and understood it's a single writer commissioning people to do art my expectations for him to do a lot of content was low so I figure he would optimize on the story side instead. So I ask this; Why do you guys constantly check in for this type of game? Palworld, Enshrouded, Dragon's Dogma 2, and several other titles are about to arrive, hell even Lethal Company is still fun with friends.

Granted I'm not a patreon nor shelled any money out for any game on this site, so I suppose many would be angry but you invested in this knowing it's an RPG maker hentai game worked on by 1 individual, so I'm curious?

Holy hell, this update is what we waited so long for? I just finished and we have 6 total new succubus's with scenes. 5 of which only have one position with little dialog change and the duchess having 3. The entire last map looks like it was made in a day as its just large and full of filler enemies and no loot. There are no items to collect its just go into each seasons circle kill the same plant enemy 15 times, kill the plants guarding the 4 crystals that create a shield for each of the 4 seasons succubus's. It is absolutely mind numbing, between each area there's a cutscene and when you finally kill the 4 seasons you go to the duchess area where you have to blow up 4 more crystals and fight more generic plants. When you finally kill the duchess since you brought a bunch of healing items to spam (if you didn't you'll need a backup save to reload cause you cant leave the final area) you get a little cutscene and the ending where it closes the game so you really can't leave the final area or save.

There is nothing in this update that warranted the amount of time it took to release. There's no updates to the gallery, the "succubuspeidea" doesn't even have the entries to the 6 new succubus's as it's still at 23. There are no meaningful choices you can make in this update. There's literally just a million generic plant enemies and 24 crystals you have to break to progress with a lame cutscene to push the plot at every screen transition. There's not even any new items to equip or find. This was just a weeks worth of work slapped together.
