I was able to beet her. now we beat our friend that turns into a succubus. how tf are we supposed to beat her. the phantom thief girl and the clown are op. Like the phantom thief ignores all my guys and does 800 - 1100 damage to me directly. And we cannot target her. Are we sure we are not supposed to upgrade our deck ?
If you can't buy anything off the shop, that most likely means your CSV files are out of date.
Would you mind zipping up and sharing your CSV and save folders?
I can take and look to see what's up.
After putting work into it, I have an updated translation that I'll like to share now.
The biggest accomplishment is the completion of the main story and all card effects/descriptions, so you will be able to play through the main game without an auto-translator. This does not include most H-scenes and battle dialogue however.
The patch is meant for the current May 25th release, but you should be able to use this for any version after May 5th (or the one that reworked the Reminisce Galleries and added the Encyclopedia and Animation Gallery).
I have added a README that you can follow to apply the translation patch, but the quick notes are:
If you have at least the May 12th version (which I think was the last one that was posted here), You can copy the CSV file in either ParadoxLuka-Focus-Translation or Official-Focus-Translation and replace the CSV in your game's directory (if this will be your first time starting succubusduel.exe yet, open succubusduel.exe first or you'll rewrite the CSV files). Then, in the title screen, select Language -> English.
If you have an older or future version, you can copy the English folder in CSV\Language of either ParadoxLuka-Focus-Translation or Official-Focus-Translation and replace the English folder in the CSV\Language in the game's directory. That will translate ~95%, and you can follow the HOTFIX_README in the Hotfix folder to get the rest. Then, in the title screen, select Language -> English.
The README details all the work done so far, but some things I'd like to highlight:
I have incorporated GiratenaTranslations for parts that I haven't done yet, and I have two versions you can use (ParadoxLuka (mine) or Official (GiratenaTranslations)) in case you prefer to use one or the other. They're both combined translations, but one prioritizes one work over the other if there is an overlap.
Because I feel bad for using another's work especially when I didn't ask for permission before hand, I plan to do my own translations over the parts that the official has done but I haven't yet, but that's most likely will be once everything that is possible is translated.
Also, I fixed some bugs that exist CSV scripts (which are just text and visual bugs that don't impede game progress).
This translation patch uses the in-game Language function of the game unlike my last one that modify all the non-language CSV files. This will make it easier for me to transfer my work over to any future versions and for you to apply any new translation patch.
Unfortunately, I had modify some non-language CSV files in order for the language function to translate them and to fix the aforementioned bugs.
The remaining parts I have to do are:
H scenes (defeats, game overs, and Erotics).
In battle dialogue such as masturbation, begging, and plea for life scenes.
Any future event that they'll add or allow for translations.
My main focus for now is working on H scenes, Cardmaster dialogue, and refining my current script.
I seem to have the most trouble when translating/writing erotic content, so this next (possibly last) leg may take awhile.
Just like last time, somethings I want to keep in mind:
This is a solo hobby effort with no editor, and I am heavily relying on DeepL when doing this so expect grammatical errors and mistranslation.
I take liberties with my translations.
This is not a commitment of a full translation (ignoring the stuff that can't be translated), but I'll keep on with this as long as I have the drive and interest to do so
hey man, first of all thank you for your work,
second of all, i download the game from here, open it for the first time and thne replace the csv file like you told, but i get this weird meesage
do you know what i did wrong ?

Do you have an auto-translator hooked? If so, then I think that's your auto-translator.
Try replacing the CSV file again and restart/start the game again.
For some reason the game soft-locked me after I beat cardmaster in tutorial making it impossible to progress past that. Any help to solve this problem?

phantom thief is strong but has her weakpoints spells, traps and effects like the ninjas can easily take her out. also if you inflect zombie on elle the life steal effect will hurt her instead.
she has perm stealth and direct attack but direct attack can't bypass monsters with taunt like shield dwarf (though monsters with taunt can't defend normally)
clown's more annoying then strong but there are a few things you can do with her like use are as tribute or use a return to hand effect and play her yourself

Same, I just get the background with no text. I used the WIN (original game I presume) download folder from the OP, pasted the patch from the OP onto the WIN folder, and the pasted the most recent translation from paradoxluka from last Thursday in the comments (specifically the Official-Focus-Translation). It seems like the game uses the translation files, and also auto translates any Japanese text. Did I apply the patch and translation correctly? If not, is the translation only good for the original/WIN folder or the patch folder? And what exactly is the patch or what does it do anyway?
I figure the answers may be somewhere in the thread, but I wasn't sure if they're up to date with the latest version, so I'm sorry for anyone getting annoyed for someone asking a question that's been asked before, maybe even several times before.

Sylvia? She's pretty strong blind on Hard, you do need a counter to Aegis (the "angel" I think; goddess, according to the game) to beat her reliably (you can always just beat her before she gets it out but this can sometimes be hard). The most direct counter is something like the Triangle Thor deck:
Since Thor has penetration upon activation, it just goes through her defenses (defense mode creatures and Aegis's ability) and between Reservoir and Triangle Summons, it's easy to get 1-3 Thors out really early (use Magician to find Reservoir for the first one). Then just activate Thor to give it penetration and it'll wreck anything she throws in the front. The idea is that when you summon Thor, you get 3x Lightning which you can use to cast Triangle Summons (the three sword spell) for another Thor.
My own deck was a Poseidon deck. Based on tips here I added a single copy of the "Spirit tree"/"霊樹のしずく" (ryouju no shizuku in romaji for the in-game search), which lets you remove Aegis's 10x damage reduction (occasionally useful otherwise too, removing weaknesses, fascination and such to let you activate Boy Captain, attack with Poseidon, or whatever):
After that it was really hard to lose to her with it. You simply go through your deck so fast once you get a Poseidon out that you'll find Spirit Tree a bunch of times (you basically play Poseidon once per turn and draw like 9-10 cards at least so it's easy to go through the deck in two turns):
The Water-deck beats Succubus Elulu really easily too since most of her annoying stuff is based on her trap cards (her immunity and what-not) and once you just cast Tsunami, you are free to beat her up. And it's easy to draw and redraw Tsunami thanks to Poseidon again. This goes for most match-ups; the hardest one is Eiraira-sensei, where the deck wins about 50% of the time when played correctly it seems for a level 38 main character. Cammy occasionally strings together nut (heh) draws that are really hard to beat unless your hand lines up very well [Mirror Force is the best card when you're getting chain-drunk] but overall, it works pretty reasonably. Just be mindful of what you have in your deck when you draw cards or want to use search effects (Food Chain, Boy Captain, Wakatsumi Believer).
The Thor-deck should beat her most of the time too; Thors can go to town through her trap and while the Phantom Thief is annoying when you can't kill her easily, you can usually take it home with enough brute force (her trap works so that damage is only prevented if she controls a monster so kill her monsters -> you can take her down). Definitely harder with it tho and you have to play precise especially with Magician and Reservoir - those two are your key cards.
But yes, you definitely should be able to buy cards and upgrade your deck (well, make a new deck or three; the starter cards are pretty terrible and will probably lose out to even the F-rank card masters you start off against a fair bit, especially on Hard). If you can't, look into reinstalling or a different package altogether.
Thanks, that did it. I also finally have access to the shop, I had gotten all the way to the friend turned succubus with the starter deck, but no way I could beat her with that. Even after my spending spree, I had to edit my deck over and over again. Those ninjas came in clutch, almost feels like cheating.
hey guys i have a problem, everytime i open the game it just shows me a white screen and i tried everything to fix it. it doesnt do anything can you please help me? This is the first time it happened to me. I already played this game few months ago and it didnt show this problem. Can you guys help me please?
P.S.
The background music is playing. i installed unityhandler and everything to try and fix this. Still this white screen
Has anyone played around with the "No monster"-deck? I noticed that of what Musashi uses you only lack Parry and there's some stuff you can add. Of course, this does run into issues against opponents that destroy your magic cards (mostly Eiraira-sensei TBH) and stuff that Enchants you (Luka, Succubus Eruru are really annoying). It seems to ironically beat Musashi pretty easily and Sylvia wasn't that hard either. Here's what I used:
Tips? Heart of Justice didn't really feel that good but it did swing a hard match. It's so rare to get to cast it tho that it's probably not worth having. Thinking of maybe adding more creature removal spells and perhaps varying up the equipment suite. Ultimately the big issue is fighting against someone like Luka, where you need to remove the Charm Amulet to even attack. It IS very nice that almost everything you play draws cards though.

spell card can only be played if you have a equip card equipped, gain 200 atk, if there are no monsters in your graveyard when one of your equip card is sent from the field to the graveyard add this card from the graveyard to your hand.
also if you can afford to use it dragon sword has amazing synergy with guardsaber
Ty. Modifying the shell proves to be difficult since as soon as I begin adding numerous cards that don't draw cards, the deck begins to draw clunkers that do nothing. Enhancing Low is a really, really important card. It's annoying, having to cover so many angles of attack with specific answers (like Spirit Tree is necessary because of all the enchantment and the pendant and all the traps make Stake Everything or a similar removal effect necessary). Fire is pretty nice but the problem with it is that I need to draw it and equipment in a good ratio so I couldn't rationalize more than one. I iterated a bit - Elemental Affinity is great for just boosting my damage sky high and Fire is something I definitely want in the deck. Ultimately it just feels like I'd need more protection from enemy attacks. Disposables cycling to find more stuff is mighty handy.
Cammy, Luka & Eiraira seem almost unbeatable (and the boss is really tough too) - everything else is not too bad. Sylvia, Gemini & Necro are really easy all considered. The recent additions made Melody much more reasonable as you actually can outbuff your attack compared to her constant nerfs. What's the name of the Dragon Sword? Couldn't find it I don't think.

your translation seems different from mine i'm assuming your "enhancing low" is my "enhanced draw"
so i may not be sure on all the names used. yeah finding the right balance can be tough.

due to cammy's ability to prevent you from playing spells she can completely destroy you with this deck while there are cards that can help (the restraint trap card works wonders though if she plays the drunkard bunny before you can get it your boned) she's still the worse match up for it followed closely by eiraira/ellaria
generally speaking there are cards to counter everyone like if for example your sylvia/silvia was someone you had a hard time with i'd say you'd want to use this(see image) allowing you to ignore the goddess' defense buff
though it only works in decks like this due to requiring 2 equip cards equipped on the target(in this case yourself) for the buff
this is the dragon sword it's a card you get from one of the old lady's autograph events
there's also some cheap tricks you can exploit like playing peace treaty then using a spirit tree's dew on yourself
