Found Chapter 2, decided to start at the beginning.

This is alternately frustrating & boring.

There are so few clues for what to do next I end up wandering from house to house until something triggers or night falls and I go waitress at the pub.

There's no follow up, did slimy change back to blue and stop fucking Alice? Will Risa tell me to drop by the shop? Or does that advance when we get our new waitress outfitted?

Try the save in the OP. It should be exactly for that issue.
I'll never understand how that event bugs outfor some, but works just fine forme and others...
