Well, after 2 torturous nights without much sleep, it's time to admit it.
The amount of bugs in this update remains too big, I even managed to find some bugs on old saves that I've never seen before.
Also, I've enabled the pub, but many other locations are disabled instead, because the events are not fully ready(either no variations, or strict dress code, plus bugs).
It's been a long time since 0.58 release, and I considered releasing the update in a special "bugfixing" release, but that would be too pathetic.
Even though I don't always succeed at preventing game-breaking bugs, I don't want to make the bugs the main reason the update is released.
All in all, the update needs a few more days to cook(probably more days than are left in this month, unfortunately).
Pledges for this month are paused as well.
But I also want to present at least something, since it's been so long since the last release.
That's why I'm gonna reveal a small secret.
Last year, just before the New Year, I was working on a special release. I never mentioned anything beyond that, and then my schedule got destroyed, so the subject got buried.
The special release was supposed to be a small original Succulence update, because there are a few old bugs that keep getting reported, with a few extra images here and there.
Some time passed since then already, and the past few months have been quite rough, but this year it's going to be a 5 year anniversary of this page and the original Succulence.
So I thought that I'll take those images from New Year, combine them with some old unreleased images that didn't make it into the game and make a small image set/comic about Serena's teaching shenanigans.
I kept it all a secret in case it turned out to be too silly of an idea, but I already made a bunch of samples, so I'll compile them into an image set and post it tomorrow.
I felt pretty embarrassed doing these scenes, so putting it all out for everyone to judge is a fitting punishment for messing up the release
Until tomorrow.

I downloaded ver. 0.58.3 but it tells me shortly after starting chapter 1 that I can´t progress further until I have ver 0.58.3
Does anyone have an idea why that is?

I don't know what the production team is doing, the game has been making for 3 years, but there's so little content to play and so little content to play, and although I love the game, it's updated fast enough to make me forget about it
Because its all that was redone till then, still stuck waiting for a new update.
Dev has so many ideas in mind, he is always pushing the release back to a future date.
We will wait if he really can release something in June now.

For me, there is another big problem. The production team is too slow to make a reality show. As a person who can't read English, there is no Chinese translation team. I remember there are sequels to this game

Since "production team" keeps coming up, I'll add a reminder that [R]Nest is just one person. Succulence 1 and 2 are solo projects. Hiring more people would make things go faster, but they'd need the budget for it. The lack of translations is, well, a community problem, not a developer problem.
It's a shame that the plans for 2 went out the window and do-overs were needed. If development feels too slow, there's no way around it but to a) fund a full team or b) leave the game on the boil for another year.
I wonder if those complaining are actually supporter or just grab the stuff if its coming in.
I have no problem to provide a new version, but its ready if its ready.

And at least not like other developers, he responce to questions or ideas and explains the delays.

Kindly put non-English through a translator like DeepL or Google Translate. The forum needs to be in English or provided with an English translation (1.5 in https://f95zone.to/threads/general-rules-updated-2022-02-01.5589/).

At this point the developer is only milking hes patrons....He did NOTHING since september last year.... I was a patron until he anounced the remakeing of the game... I was happy, but he deliverd nothing... Every time he has to release an uppdate he has a problem. xD i get that sometimes things might happend,but every fucking time? This is my oppinion. If you like beeing milked keep giving him money,but im out.Sad tho... the first game was good.
