Lmao, despite the amazing graphics and animations, this game has really shitty writing, so I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not.
Characters talk like they're in the movie 'the room' by Tommy Wiseau because the dialogue lacks subtext. And the story itself completely lacks exposition. The main character doesn't make any decisions, he has no objectives, he just wanders from one sex scene to another.
There are plenty of examples of porn games with a very decently written story. And this game is definitely not one of them.
Yeah I only play this fore Bree and Bree , I guess I'll sprinkle some Sophie , Eve , Mia and whatever other LI or SG this game has to offer in between plus the renders. I think the pacing is horrible and im not really invested into the story at all yet which is what makes me surprised when I see so many 5 star reviews not sure if I did review this or not but it's only a 3 star game atm for me.
I've gotta agree with Lux, the story is not really gripping or interesting yet. The renders and the girls are great (especially Sophie). It's pretty much the same as lots of others. MC gets thrown into situation with horny girls. Redhead, bitchy girl, emo chick, a couple of MILFS, and of course the best friend who's been crushing on him forever.
The writing is not stellar but it's still above average for an AVN. I've read way worse (not even counting the ones written in engrish). The renders are top tier though, and that's the main selling point of those games.
I feel like sometimes 'story' and 'characters' (which are both parts of the writing) get tangled up in these discussions. I personally think it's extremely harsh to say the game has "really shitty writing", especially (as dolfe67 and Ragnar touch on) in comparison to other AVNs. For me not much has happened yet in the story, and I guess not really enough to judge whether it's a good story or not (although I am personally engaged by the threads it's started (although to be fair I like slice of life kind of games without really feeling there's a need for an elaborate plot)). But I do think the characters are good, and quite distinctly drawn (again, especially compared to many AVNs). If for no other reason than it feels like they each have their own personalities and motivations and preferences, in a way that a lot of games' love interests don't.For a romance focused vn the writing isn't bad imo. Things like the mistery behind Miller or the Night Clubs add some meat to the usual I love you anon-kun <3
Where I maybe agree with you Lux Perpetua is about the main character being a bit blank. But TBH I don't really have a problem with that in a game like this - the absence can be filled by players imagining their own objectives onto the MC.
Anyway, I write this as someone who really likes this game. So obviously take that for what it's worth.
