I've downloaded the VN for you. Just before the "About me" section, create a save and exit the VN. Then open the script_ch03.rpy file and go to the appropriate location.

Now replace "None" with your language (in quotes!!! in English, according to the game/TL folder) and save the file.

Finally, launch the VN, and the problem is solved.

What's so difficult about that?

I had tried but it wasn't working, now I discovered it was the mod that was causing some problem and bugging this...

I hope DEV gonna give more light in upcoming update one those few suspicious actions, when it was insinuated that someone was perhaps looking what Mia was doing with MC for the first time and the other one with them doors closing during MC convo with mommy Hill About them strange message on MC phone....whatever but no harm if this also get some further action.
I am aware that priorities are rather some real encounters of Bree with her beloved brush but some added clarity to the plot would be truly welcomed by fans

its a plan that's in the works you can see the option in the main menu. But I doubt it'll be anytime soon. No way they can sell the game for a standard price with its current length.

Status Update #42


Hello everyone!

This week we've been focusing on coding, SFX and music. We have a couple of scenes that require new music and we've been searching for the right fit for a while. Originally we wanted to make a short cinematic clip for 0.7 but the scene plays out fine with just renders too. But what if, the voice whispers... Well, maybe another time.

We also worked on a couple of earlier scenes and changed some renders around for better visual flow. A couple of mistakes were also found along the way, and some gaps that could use better transitions for that smooth body language. Moments in general that could benefit from a little extra touch.

For 0.7 we've also adjusted our screenplay style a little bit. Some moments are more sparse than others, mostly to move things along a little bit quicker. We're hoping to hear your thoughts on this approach in the post-update survey as well. How it feels, is it an improvement or a downgrade, etc. It's not too different from what it is now, but thoughts are always welcome and appreciated.

We also finished a big scene this week, and that will get animations next.

This weekend we'll continue the work on Bree's scene as well as some dialogue fixes.

Oh look, another meaningless report that, as always, avoids plain talk and showing any kind of progress bar. Not a soul knows how far this update really is, or if there's even a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. The way these reports are written now reveals absolutely nothing. In principle, what's written there could just be omitted, as it ultimately just comes across as frustrating and gives the overall impression that it could still be years until we see an update.

I'm choosing to believe that the focus on the fact that they mention a post-update survey is a good sign; why bring it up now if the update is waaaay off in the distance?
...I could be totally wrong, of course.

Also...I'm actually glad they dropped a "short cinematic clip", while it could be cool to see the characters moving, it could also be a mistake and a waste of resources. Good on them to drop it, for now.

(like I said, trying to be positive, the lack of real talk concerns me too)

Curious if this refers to some of the interstitial/mood scenes where there's no dialogue and we get shots of different members of the group. I rather liked that approach and thought it worked well with establishing tone/pacing, but perhaps it's less necessary as the story ramps up.

Touch of speeding up would develop story bit faster what mainly make the game engaging so that's good idea. We simply need to get some rounding up of side stories, cuz if literally everything just keeps on unfolding, you do not know where all stories are going to, this is going to get chaotic. This ain't Stephen King so more to the point approach would be certainly praised by community

Anyone else remember when they asked us if we wanted shorter updates with less wait in between and it was overwhelmingly approved of then promptly ignored by them just to continue their slow year long dev cycle?

actually they did the short format which is why we got that last update that lasted as long as the ads on my browser with adblocker. Due to that I sense that Northpx wants to deliver something much better to win back some fans however this course of action has led to their development taking longer than the time my dad left to get milk.
