I am aware that priorities are rather some real encounters of Bree with her beloved brush but some added clarity to the plot would be truly welcomed by fans

its a plan that's in the works you can see the option in the main menu. But I doubt it'll be anytime soon. No way they can sell the game for a standard price with its current length.

Curious if this refers to some of the interstitial/mood scenes where there's no dialogue and we get shots of different members of the group. I rather liked that approach and thought it worked well with establishing tone/pacing, but perhaps it's less necessary as the story ramps up.
I'm not sure if we talked about this in some status update, but it's mainly to just move things along a bit faster on some moments. Character specific and some group scenes will still be stacked when it matters.
Due to that I sense that Northpx wants to deliver something much better to win back some fans however this course of action has led to their development taking longer than the time my dad left to get milk.

As for this update, they could have done it, a shorter one with smaller dev time. In term of size this update will be much bigger than the last, they were over the size of 0.6 months ago already. But i think ( and this is my speculation only here) that they just want to finish day 2 at this point and deliver something more "meaty" than 0.6 after the "backlash" from it being "to short".
From what we concretely know they aiming for 0.7 size to be around the same as 0.5.
This is always a good idea on paper but then you get 1000 comments and DM's about it being too short, CTRL took too long, no sex etc. At this point the only person I remember being in favor of short updates aside of me is Lipe here on F95. Feedback surveys are always asking for more instead of shorter and faster, and these are always open for everyone.
But yeah 0.8 will be shorter and ideally faster, much faster. And that's an actual promise that can be quoted for future.

How far away is the next update? This is one of the best looking and written games ive played, I can understand it takes a while to produce a game of this quality but everytime I see this game on f95 I just cant help but wonder.
Not that far, I could make a guess but I can't really say for sure. My pal made a guess during 0.6 and it didn't hold up at all, so officially there wont be any estimations until we know for certain.
