Just don't use POV in the kissing scenes and that's alright

Not important aat all. MC doesnt need to be in every frame obviously. Just like in movies or tv shows, put the camera where it has to be.

I dont mind non-POV shots they can be great in fact, but as long as it's cleverly done like avoiding showing the MC's face or head. I feel like showing the face of the MC is immersion breaking for me at least, at least this MC does not look like a total dweeb so that's a plus but either way some shots POV is king and in others 3rd person view can be amazing but i like the games that use clever angles to avoid showing MCs face as much as possible.

Hello, everyone!
This week we carried on with the edits and render changes we decided on previously. Some dialogue was cut, a few renders removed, and a couple of re-renders added to the queue. There was also some crashing during rendering this week. The source behind these crashes remains to be discovered, but they luckily didn't affect anything except mental stability. Just one of those perks of working with 3D sometimes.
There was a surprising amount of fixes required for the new renders this week. That's something we'll look into in the future as the issues stemmed from the scenes themselves, but for the time being they're easily fixed in the post-processing stage.
Work on animations continued, as well as new renders. We spent some extra time focusing on a few scenes that will likely be the favorites of many in the upcoming update. There are still a couple more improvements we'd like to make on those scenes, but we'll see after we get some impressions from the beta version.
The updated script also meant that we had to rewrite some of the code. A couple of bugs also showed up on Ember after thorough playtesting, but we promptly escorted them out of the game. Ember is essentially done at this point, except for a few missing renders. They are low priority, however.
While editing this week, we were wondering how the players feel about the POV perspective we generally stick to in Summer Heat. We've been more liberal with angles and showing the main character in CH05 because some scenes are very limited by POV.
How do you feel about seeing more of the main character? Is strict POV important to you?

Completely agree. I love POV VN's and for me that's one of the main reasons this game has been such a blast so far.
To be honest, I was fearing the devs would change this at some point...
Oh well, now we wait and hope for a decent looking MC...

Yea as long as he is your normal/decent looking guy with no features sticking out i can live with it, but even then i just wanna see his face as little as possible.
I dont wanna have a situation like with Summer Game and Where it All Began, for all the credit those games get for some of the most attractive women on this website, the dev completely screwed it up with some of the worst MC's out there. One looks like he was plucked straight out of the Uchiha clan as he was listening to My Chemical Romance songs and the other just looks like Great Khali from WWE.

POV is very much not outdated, there are a plethora of amazing POV shots in this game, where the MC(us) looks at the girls butts and boobs and girls even catch him do it and in turn it creates some of the sexiest most intimate moments in the game. We barely just started with the sex scenes and it's already giving us amazing POV shots. You can not tell me you would be OK with missing this

No.
Shots like the one above are amazing and when i first saw it, with the character directly starring at your eyes during a BJ scene its just another thing that makes this game so great and why the Devs really understand how to do POV shots and perfect expressions to accompany them.

Yes that's why i named my main character Elon Musk or something and not used my own name. Do i have to explain to you the concept of POV and how these games work? Maybe for you, you like the voyeur fetish and so you approach the game in that sense, but for me and i bet most other people the point is that we INSERT ourselves as the main character.Yes. I play these games from a point of view where i am the the protagonist, i do no play them as if I am in control of this stranger where my goal is to help him fuck girls as i watch from the sides, again maybe for you that's how you wanna play them, but it's not for me.
