Haven't been in this thread for a few months. Has there been any dev comment regarding the feedback about the MC having no agency in his reactions & dealings with Miller and Kate?
Nope, nothing is really gonna change on that front. They have a story they want to tell. Personally I find Miller and the whole club thing out of place but it's not my story.

Is it out of place though? It has failed to define what it intends to be. Going one way, we seemingly have a crime drama. Going another, we seem to have a supernatural suspense. And then we have the typical college bs going on. On top of that, you have the individual character stories. I can't tell what place this story is supposed to be in

Dev can saw w/e they want in regards to what it is intended to be, but that isn't translating yet. The game should be well defined in the initial release. The first visit to the club was enough to set up a future arc, but you can't pull the plot in 3+ directions on top of the characters pulling you in like 7. What its done is create a scenario where the story goes absolutely no where and I'm not confident it ever will. If it does, it's going to be an incredibly slow chug.

It's out of place in what I would have wanted the story to be about. I was looking forward to a slice of life story at art camp with attractive women and what appears to be a high production quality. Tossing in a strip club, corrupt Reno 911 cops, envelopes of cash, Miller being weird, and the other stuff just dilutes what I was looking forward to.

I mainly look forward to art camp stuff and his interactions with Sophie, Bree, Mia, Eve, etc. I haven't dropped it yet but it's definitely been a letdown.

I don't think there are gonna be any supernatural in the game but yes it seems that the game is gonna try to mislead people to think there is. Horror tag + windigos stories + the "ghost girl" in the abandoned school. ( edit: plus (maybe?) all the shenanigans with the "scroll back" rewind stuff)

What shenanigans?
There are couple of instances where if you go back (scroll back) you can change the outcome of the scene or have the game acknowledge that you did, i have four moment that came into mind:

The "who would you do"with Sophie : if you go back the dialogues gonna change and you can have a more romantic start (instead of naughty) with sophie. (it also impact dialogues with her in future interactions later into the game)

The "strawberry throw" with Jenni. By going back, here you can actually hit her mouth instead of missing.

The colour guess with Mia hair clip thingy. if you go back to try to "cheat", Mia will "prevent" you from doing so and tell you not to cheat.

And the "deja vu" moment with Sophie on the bridge. MC gonna comment that it's feel like a "deja vu" moment. I'm not sure how to proc this one but i know it's there because of URM.

edit: Oh and there is also the liminal corridor/space secret in the abandoned school of course !!!
( don't remember how to access it but somewhere in this tread i gave the solution , it's buried here somewhere lol. )

edit2: found it page 614(^^) :
for those who want to see and acces the easter egg : in the final free roam into the school spam click the right arrow until you are "teleported" ;)

Indeed, it happened to me once with the strawberry with Jenny, but perfectionist that I am, I rollback to make a success of the basket.

The game can also be noted on the phone, so you can go back if you lose.

This kind of experimental game systems really elevates an AVN in my opinion and most of these I've only ever seen used in this game. There was one of these pretty much at the start that you couldn't even circumvent with saving and reloading. I have no idea how this works as I don't give a shit about the technical side of Ren'Py but it's certainly fun.

I think any combination with Sophie where she shows her nipples in the next update is unlikely. I'm assuming Bree/Eve, both of them were already close to showing us more. Bree wanted to show us more in the bathroom in the middle of the night but we were interrupted by Sophie and Eve showed MC some underboob in her room.

About Kate, we already had a chance to a hint of one of her nipples although it wasn't much see the two pictures below.

About Bree I think we can see something in the pinup picture below with the wet shirt, or my eyes wished they could see something don't know for sure.
