It's better than most modern AAA games too, actually. I remember first time playing it, man, it had SOOO much content... It's unfortunate that most western developers only can milk their patrons, instead of actually making games.

the gameplay really is better than 99% any other $100k patreon projects have.
I only dislike the low pixel count for the pixel art when you're fucking them.
The best amount of pixels were those animated cut-ins when you do coax and the static scene cg + situation writing that made it very, very fappable for me.

I see one major logistical hurdle right off the bat
knowing Summer Memories, we can probably expect a lot of "cave explorations" even if igloos aren't in the sequel

Man Dojin Otome has really become the image of a great developer. Using their deadline to motivate their self instead of mindlessly nabbing at the keyboard for some money. I respect this Dev alot and I hope AAA ones and indie Devs follow this mindset of goals.
