It's not like he does regular posts which contain exactly the percentage of stuff he has added with pictures of the progress... he said he is in the end phase it's just not completely ready yet. Also he already released a full game with DLC before so that argument makes weven less sense.

He has released not one, but 3 games total, plus an alpha for a game in development too, in 5 years, so I don't know what that dude is talking about. This isn't a Patreon scam situation where devs milk patrons for all they have over years, he even had health problems. I know some people are tired of devs taking advantage of crowdfunding but none of that applies to this dev, Winter Memories has been in development for 2 years and some change (announced around august 2020) and it's almost complete too.
Not even sure why they were compared to patreon milking devs since well... we don't get a game updated over time just dev note updates so not like many are subbed to their cien.
I don't like being the guy to excuse a devs laziness with platitudes like "it'll be done when its done" or be that the guy that says the dev needs to take a break. However, he has been making a good pace and is offering new features, art, new dot animations, and story. If you were out of the loop the dev had constant ass problems for the early part of this year that required surgery in august, perianal abscess with intense pain sitting down. Honestly, I'm surprised he was able to tough it out for as long as he did and advance his project in spite of that. He's fast approaching the end of the game and I imagine the Jap version will be out sometime in the middle of next year. Even with a team they need him for decisions, planning, and general direction and input.

Oh yea exactly, if anything it's the complete opposite: every game that the dev made got gradually better than the one before, with summer memories being the one which was outstanding and loved by everyone. The dev has learned alot developing and releasing games that we should rather praise the approach he takes to creating games rather than belittling it. What I saw from the various teasers from winter memories also really caught my interest since almost everytime I thought to myself "That's exactly what was missing in Summer memories!". Just give this guy a fkin medal for improving to the point of releasing the best H-games the world has ever seen.
I'm just hoping for even wilder scenes and quite frankly doing in inappropriate spots.

It's reasonable because they want to polish the game first or else there would be lot of complaints when its released like glitches and the sequel is much bigger than the previous especially lots of new functions and also some RL problems when they got sick a while ago
This game is in development in 3 years now he started probably in 2020. if you guys think that he would release a gold mine sooner then you're dead wrong. I know he had health issues but if you promise that you release a game in that year and saying that you postponed after in a post last year and saying to release it next year and doing the same thing again it begins to shamble a little. it doesn't look good. then the dev is not trustworthy anymore in mine eyes. and nope I don't think this game will come out in 2023 maybe in 2024 or 2025. who knows maybe he will drag it on like some guys in patron and fzone LOL and there some many good porn games then his but his games had an unique style to it.

It's literally on the first page mate. It's the game plus an extension, it's played as one game.
Standalone, although the mechanics are similar to this one.

Wdym "release a gold mine"? He will make a shit ton of money from the sales because many people will probably buy it + money you get from localization since I cannot imagine Kagura games not wanting to release this one since the first one they released under their name got so popular in the west. He is literally updating on all the progress and as long as u are not even paying for it, what are you complaining for? It's not his obligation to release it at the exact moment he announced like a year ago, especially if he has health problems for which he made dedicated posts... idk where you are getting that from. Also next year could even mean just january, you are reading way too much into it.

He could also just after releasing start working on a DLC for winter memories and still have active monthly patrons so u r really not as "woke" as you think you are...

If you're talking about Summer memories +, then it's the main game plus DLC's. If you're talking about Winter Memories, it's a whole new game taking place after Summer memories.
