I don't understand the debate. If you want a deep and engaging plot with story arcs and good characters you can go play any jrpg or Visual novel. Why would anyone want a deep plot and characters when they want to fap? I know I don't.

He's not, but he is the same boy that appears in Succumate.

Boku isn't a name, it literally means "I" or "me" in japanese, it's a male pronoun. That's why so many manga and games have "You-kun" or "Boku-kun" for the MC's name, for self-inserting purposes, in this case it's the default name but you can change it.

I completely agree with your standpoint, the big selling point of most hentai games besides tits ofc, is the downfall of the characters morals into their lust, then at the end become what the MC is. My favorite part of this game was the slow subtle influence the MC had on the girls. I think it progressed too fast for some of them. I liked the slight guilt Miyuki had in the beginning.

I was most concerned with winter memories story foundation with how all the girls will remember you, even sub-heroines will. Kinda ruining the subtle influence and most of all the moral secret between you and the girl you chose in the last game. (No idea how he had the time to do all those things to all the girls within one month)

Personally I woulda liked it more if you could chose what "girl or girls" you wanted to remember you in the beginning so you can still develop that hidden connection.
I'd then enjoy it even more if once you finish that play through of a logistical story you can unlock slightly more unrealistic new games+. Where all the girls remember you, playing into that unrealistic fantasy.
Overall, yes I think making all of them know you in winter memories slightly ruins the believability of the fantasy. Still gonna get the game cuz the DEV made a very replayable game and the sequel will be far superior

when I heard this game was getting a sequel, I was REALLY hoping it would be a timeskip one where boku is at least not a shota anymore. and the story could almost be like a reset where so many years passed by that you kinda have to start all over almost.

Hey guys, since apparently the Konosuba korean mod has the same story as the original game, but with a Darkness skin over Rio, do you know if it's possible to send the files of the translation from the game's base version into the mod to play it in English? Or, otherwise, put the files of Darkness' skin and animations from the mod in place of Rio's in the base version?

Unfortunately, the game is made with one language, so the Jap/En/Korean games are all technically separate games. One could copy over the translation by hard copying each line into the game, but it takes a long while. It would probably be quicker (and less-stressful) to change the art assets of the English version with the mod.

Amusing fact, what appears to be the MC in Summer Memories makes a cameo there, and the Gym Coach as well.

Good scenes, lighthearted fun.

Do you know which file reads the images in the "pictures" paste to make them appear in the korean mod's game, and if I can put said file in place of the one that reads the images in the English version? Because when I tried to put the assets from the korean mod in the English one, it wouldn't read them.

Typically, certain files should be replaced if one replaces the base files in the WWW folders, but that depends on the game's coding...
Using RPG Maker MZ, place a project game file into the WWW folder of the game and start up the project. From there, most things can be directly edited through the map events and common events. Takes a bit of a learning curve if one isn't used to the rpg maker creation engines.

They are two separate mods, though the full game is there, as mods for rpg maker games tend to be file edits, not file additions. One adds in Darkness from Konosuba, while the other is a content addition, though in Korean.

According to this the official steam version does have chinese, but you would have to buy it/find a chinese adult game piracy site
