I am not kidding. The Captain already said several times that Summer Scent isn't a porn game and you don't need sex to conclude a story.

Exactly.
It doesn't change the fact that these paths are not what you described and that the endings are actually good.
You may not like them, but not everyone shares your tastes and opinions.
For it to be even a halfway-decent story in the genre you certainly do, let alone "among the best." Adult game + no sex = absolute shit.

For those who play for the story rather than the quick and sad fap, it is great.
If someone wants a story with no sex, read a book or play one of the thousands, if not millions, of AAA games. An adult game with no sex is like a radio without sound.

well, that's just your opinion man. It's wrong, but whatever. There are people who enjoy that sort of thing. You know, a good story, character building. Sex doesn't necessarily need to be a part of that. Even though I don't know why you are complaining, since there are sex scenes in the game. Not too many, but they are there. If you don't like it, why don't you go play something else instead?

The books, etc also have way better stories. Playing an AVN for the story is like back in the day buying a porno mag for the articles. Unfortunately, unlike now a porno mag with no nudity would have quickly gone under. Now people will pay for a big nothing on content.

Playing this for the first time, landed on the Eve love/sub + Cassie love routes (and on good terms with Kelly though that doesn't go anywhere as the MC is already spoken for), where the MC spends a lot of his time agonizing over being in love with both but rarely has the option to actually do much about it. A lot of "I'm definitely going to start communicating better with the people I care about!" followed by "Aw shucks, maybe next time."
Skimming the script I noticed the "dual sub" path, but that seems a bit tricky to land on currently: The MC has to (rack up enough points with both and) encourage Cassie's fumbling attempts at dominance initially and can't say he's not into it at the wrong time, but must then retroactively go "Oh btw. all that abusive stuff you did to me? Yeah, I wasn't into that, forgot to mention."
Read through the 'psychotic knight' ending in the script and yeah, it's some angsty goth nonsense, but not terribly written if that's what you're after.
The in-game hint type dealie didn't work for me, but wasn't a major issue. Unpacking the game to look at the script may have broken a trigger there, idk.

You do know the "A" stands for "Adult" right? I mean I know there's that manga bullshit that is for violence, but meh to that. People come here for the ones with sex scenes. Manga and such can go on like Imatotaldork.com or whatever.

Cartoons are for children. An ending without sex, unless a "you lose" ending is a 1 star, only because 0 or -999999999999999999 stars isn't possible. If it's like that the "no sexual content" tag would be appropriate so people know to avoid like the plague (though maybe that expression should be dropped given what we saw from the public 3-4 years ago...)

Well, I am sorry if my game isn't up to your standard but I don't intend to change anything to fit your tastes. If you find it that boring, I trust you not to waste your time playing it. I do believe that there is a place for a story. If you simply want a good fap, Summer Scent really isn't for you. Please, don't torture yourself with it anymore.
