I tried that cheat mod but it has made no difference in the game for me.

If installed correctly, you will know it's working by the word "Characteristics" on the top right border of the screen. Click on it for "cheats".
Have you tried the mod under "extras" on OP1?

be sure you have saved copy of the original game, because some mods prevent from playing aftermode content. I mean, when you reach the end of the mode WT, possibly (I didn't check this mode), you won't be able to play 0.2 content (up to 1.9), so be careful
