I don't really care about what direction it's heading, I only care if it's a good game. It has nothing to do with "Me", just like it has nothing to do with "You".

No, you shouldn't plan ahead another project when your current project is not even half way thru, especially as a solo indie developer.
Having other ideas that's not related to current project >>> Not fully committed to current project / having second thoughts >>> and we all know what'll happen next.
This is generally bad, especially for new developers, as they are more often inexperienced with project management.

But it doesn't matter what the dev "Should" or "Should Not" do, it's his game, he can do whatever he want.
I'm not funding him, so I don't really care.

Doing a very quick search, the dev's patreon count is at 595 and in December of 2021 it was at 318 so I would call that growth. You also seem to base whether or not people think a game is good or bad solely on what you see here, but this is just one website. You also talk about how you don't care, but you sure have a lot of negative comments on games you "don't care" about. You're probably watching those threads too.

I'm all for slow burn games, but the constant teasing of something happening, only to drop it for another update that will likely diverge into something else, is really annoying.
