MC + MIA (she would look great in white) It seemed to me, that developers cut parts of the game as they progressed. In ACT 1 there was some limited navigation, for you to explore the house, some side chars like Tatjana, some timed choices like Emma shower. After that features were just cut out – the further you progress in game the more it becomes simplified in terms of interactivity.
So yes may be they wanted some variability at first, but it is not we actually see in finished game.
It will take some interesting writing to overcome the idiocy of the MC with Mia. I would think that when a woman makes a choice like that, there is no real going back to how things were, ever. She resolved to herself, that it's the end...he would be the LAST person she would want to interact with or even look at for at least a few years after the events of the 3rd act.
By then, she'll have a whole new life, independent, and likely married/engaged to some rich asshole. NTR fans will be happy at least.

I had to play Act 3 again to check on a few things and I thought that I had a pretty decent idea of what was to come next.
Obviously, mom & dad are going to go ape-shit over Mia leaving all of a sudden. What parent wouldn't. And they are going to want to know what is going on. There will be a point where the MC tells them or perhaps only mom where Mia went. Now, regardless of the relationship with Grace, they are going to go after her...if for nothing else than an explanation of her sudden departure.
However, there are a few problems with my whiskey infused thinking. First off, mom has said, numerous times, that the MC is hers and only hers. Also, the DEV stated that it would be 2 years before you see her again.
So, here is what I submit to each of you...What is Inceton going to do? Maybe, just maybe, the ending was conceived so that each and every one of us end up writing the next chapter.
For the most part, we have already started doing that...giving up our opinions and thoughts. So, keep them going. Keep stating what your thoughts and opinions are for the next update. And please take into consideration that not every thing is about sex. Add the human side of it to the overall idea. That includes elation and sadness. Try, earnestly, to put yourself into the position of each character and how you would truly feel.
By the way, Emma is not the bitch that most of you have made her out to be. For the most part, we have all known an Emma or had an Emma in our lives. She is as pivotal to the overall story line as any other character.

I'm with you, Crippy... I think that the M/C tells his mom about he & Mia. I don't think the dad finds out, just yet. He does go after her, to try and find out why. I think the mom, after is told, says good ridence. She continues to fuck the M/C. The dad goes off the deepend and shuts everyone out. That's when the time jump takes full effect, cause our M/C has already gone off to college and come home with a 2 yr degree. Mia shows up, while the M/C is out with Sam after work, and lo and behold. She has a daughter. Just so happens her name is almost the same. The mother does the math, and figures out that it is yours. Neither of you ever sought out any relationships, with others, and Mia finally confesses she lied about being on the pill, or ever taking the morning after one. I then think you both start trying to build a relationship together, and the mom, does everything she can, to force Mia out of the picture. When the M/C finally says he wants Mia, she goes and tells the father everything...
That's just the way I would tell it, with a lot of fillers in between...

In the spirit of the discussion of what I think is to come, I'll put my two cents. Given Mia's personality is naturally submissive, Grace takes over as guardian for all her affairs, and sets her up with a second in command type guy at the company, and steers/manipulates Mia into falling in love with the guy. All outward appearances, the guy is prince charming.
That's when the MC see's Mia again, when she brings her prince charming fiance home to introduce him to everyone. The MC still single, thinking she has moved on with her life is happy for her, but very depressed...until he overhears the new guy on his cell phone talking about his plans to take over the company, using Mia as leverage to force Grace to bow out, loosing everything she built, and leave her penniless. New guy doesn't care for Mia any more than the MC did during act 3, just thinking with his dick, and how he can manipulate her further down the corruption tree to get what he wants.
MC must spring to action, bringing up old feelings and similarities to what happened in the past...he now know's she's the one he's always wanted to be with. So he teams up with Emma, and Sam, and together put a plan of action on how to rescue Mia, and save Grace's company. Mia of course will write off anything anyone has to say as jealousy, so they have to have a careful plan. Since the new guy is acting the same way the MC did, the MC is able to head off and ruin some of the plans and manipulation he's doing to Mia, and a small war breaks out unbeknownst to Mia.
Slowly she starts to realize that she's being duped, and as the story unfolds, Mia realizes she's been avoiding the obvious conclusion that the one for her is the MC. Can throw in many characters and adventures along the way, bring mom in to team up with Grace, and rekindle their relationship, Dad wins back Mom, Emma learns being a good person is better than a manipulative blackmailing bitch, etc.
This is the abbreviated version, and can go into all kinds of detail and directions with a story-line like that, and will bring emotion and something most people can relate to.

So, I jumped on over to the Ren'py version after the MC punishment section of Act 3 (so not deep into it). The filler missions were starting to frustrate me (even though they can be funny, too). I just wanted to see how the story unfolds, so I started playing this and skipped over a lot of the filler dialog. I read through the important parts, and finally saw the ending. A couple things stood out that I've seen mention here.
First, there's A LOT of hate for Emma on this forum. Now, admittedly, she isn't a saint, and she is a manipulative bitch. But in terms of what she actually did, I thought it was very mild. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, she did the following. She got Mia and the MC to do porn (though let's be honest, Mia was totally into it). She tried, and failed, to get Mia to have sex with the dad. She discovered the mom and MC were having sex, and blackmailed them. And all that led to was 1 scene where she ball gagged the mom and essentially had a 3some with the MC and the mom. And she messed around a bit with the dad, blackmailing him, too.
All those things are bad, but based on how people talk about her here, I was thinking she was doing stuff like turning Mia into a drug addict and turning her into a prostitute. In all honesty, the worst character in this story was by far the MC. You wanna talk about someone manipulative and sleazy, that's the MC all over. I mean some of the things he did to Mia were borderline rape, and at the very least, blackmail. And that's not even mentioning the sleeping around behind her back (not technically cheating since they're not together, but he knew she wouldn't like it). And that leads to my next point.
The ending. I loved it. And not because the MC got screwed over. In fact, he didn't. During all that time when he started to increasingly neglect Mia to have sex with his mom, he was hurting so many people, including his dad, and most importantly, Mia. It's like he stopped giving a fuck about her because he got a shiny new toy. Yet through all that, Mia stayed faithful to him as she started falling in love with him. If the game would have ended with them ending up together, I would have been disappointed because he didn't deserve her. However, in Mia's last show of love, she did everything she could to try to turn MC in the right direction, so he could become a great man. Gave him $20,000 (to hopefully go to college). An inspirational message telling him he has great potential. And leaving, so he wouldn't have her distracting him from unlocking his true potential. Fact is, Mia leaving could become the greatest thing to ever happen to him. And they still might end up together when the sequel comes out.
It was the ending that the MC deserved, and I have a good feeling it will be for the best. The writing is on the wall. This isn't a "sad" game. It's a game about life, and it's ups and downs (along with a lot of ridiculous and funny side characters in the RPGM version). Even if the MC and Mia don't end up together by the end of Summer with Mia 2, they will end up happy. Either way, I can't wait for for it to come out, but I'm not holding my breath for it to be released any time soon.
