While I do consider myself extraordinarily lucky for having my husband, I think I'd be Bella in this situation lol. I mean we look almost identical save for the eyes(mines are ice blue... think Jill from BADIK). In fact, I don't think I've ever met someone with Bella's eye color. I mean, I'm still young, but I've traveled a lot(pre-covid) and I've never met someone with such piercing eyes. But then again, she is fictional. It's quite scary actually, how much I and this fictional character look alike. And that's not even getting into how similar our personalities are(aside from some of her obvious mental issues).

I can see it now. MC and his final LI kiss and hold hands, boarding a train. They load their stuff in a sleeping compartment, and as the train begins moving, they kiss once again. External shot, close up of the arm turning the wheel, long shot from above, showing the train near the coast, waves crashing against the beach. Finally, a shot showing the train entering a tunnel.

I don't recall exactly when, but I do recall Ocean stating that there will indeed, be a lot of adult content in the future. The comment I'm thinking of was when he said that players would be able to do a lot with Bella in the future. Although story-driven and more story-focused, this is still an adult game at the end of the day lol.

Although I don't care that much(if at all) for sexual content in these games, I think that the content in this AVN will be something very special. Seeing how much people here already love their respective LI's, I think Ocean made a great move by focusing on relationship-building early on. Because when those adult scenes do come along, they would have a much greater impact on the audience. I'd imagine it'd be much more satisfying to have sex with someone you're emotionally invested in as opposed to just hooking up with someone to get your rocks off, but this is just my own personal view on it lol.

This is exactly what I am going for.
A story primarily focused on the characters and the overall surroundings but not driven by sex.

In the later stages, the game is going to have plenty of sex and optional fetishes but it is important to me that there is a believable reason for why the characters are bonding.

And that not every romance feels like the same just with a different skin.

Fuck fests are certainly not my cup of tea. You will never need to worry about the game becoming one.

I like girls that are more than just fuck-props and this is also why I said that a harem will never be a part of the game. It would effectively destroy all the character buildup and independence.
(Not even mentioning how out of character it would be for some of them.)

And this will also be displayed in future sex scenes. It's not just some simple thrusting with some cringy dirty talk.

I want it to be a work of art. Not just from the visual standpoint but also from the POV of the involved.

I am also currently looking for some advanced English writing courses in order to achieve the level of "art" I am striving for.

The slow approach is pretty much based on something I more or less follow in real life.

The decision between "What you want now" and "What you really want."

The reason I started to like AVN's is that they could establish a connection that normal Porn could never ever achieve.
What many people want now, is instant gratification. (It fades away as fast as it appeared.)

But imo everyone is looking for something that sticks with them.

Which is the main reason why this is my favorite AVN. Ocean's doing something new and unique, and I have a strong feeling that it'll shake the AVN world in the same way that BADIK has, perhaps to an even greater degree. He's a true artist, and that alone is super rare for an AVN developer. I don't know how to say this clearly in English, but you can almost feel the passion in his work(which is rare in itself).

Sounds fantastic, thanks. Ya, I like having the content, but I'm one that doesn't need it constantly - I have really enjoyed these first 3.5 chapters so far just as they are.

And I agree completely where you said the relationship buildup makes the scenes far more impactful. Even IRL I've never been into hookups. Only meaningful relationships for me.

Thanks for the additional information Bennie, this is exactly what I'm looking for. This will likely rival or even surpass DPC & Philly's games down the road given the quality Ocean already pushes in his renders & animations. It's just like he was talking about, it'll take some time to get there, but once it's arrived, the 'instant gratification' people will likely appreciate it more.
