She is also a full of mixed signals broke daughter of a whore and an alcoholic, with neurosis regarding things thrown at her and a criminal record. The only thing going for her is her looks. How her mother hadn't roofied and sold her ass so far is beyond me. Like, honestly, she even dresses like a hooker most of the time.

So far as "bad romantic option" go, Mila is the single worst choice. She is going to end up dragging MC into her misery. Only Vanessa is worse, I think.

Also, a Zara appreciation post. Cause why the fuck not.
Zara is great, now that we've got to know her a bit.

That being said, please put those images in a spoiler. Fifteen full size images in one post is far too many, it kills the page load time, especially on mobile.
The only thing going for her is her looks.
Nonsense, Mila's best feature is she's a lovely, caring person. Being hot is an added bonus. And Jeff will beat the shit out of MC if you mess with her.

Will he also beat the shit out of the court system, pay the fines for her, pay for her apartment to move out, beat up her parents and solve other issues? Cause she is a black hole of misery that MC can't solve, only get sucked into.

No need:
Mixed signals - What mixed signals? If you pursue her she's up front about liking the MC but isn't ready to sleep with him. Perfectly normal, they just met. Dressing provocatively and/or being flirty != fuck everyone.
Mila's parents - Immaterial. Soon as she moves out they're a non-issue. There's already a plan to do that by moving into a shared flat. MC isn't expected to pay her bills, they're looking for part-time jobs to pay for it. MC doesn't necessarily have any money either at this point.
Neurosis - Have you not been paying attention, everyone in this game is screwed up? Mila isn't nearly as messed up as Bella for starters.
Criminal record - Mila doesn't have a criminal record. She may or may not have been charged depending on how you play, for something the MC did. Even on the path where she is charged, MC is already working on getting her out of it. I see little chance she'll be convicted, unless there's a future option for the player to throw her under the bus. Even if that happened that'd be player choice, nothing to do with Mila.

Your whole take on her character & situation seems off the mark to me, but you do you.

PS: thanks for putting those images in a spoiler.

...
I am really surprised I am enjoying this character so much. Zara is honestly great. Also, she is bi (or seems to be), so ya know. Bella/Zara/MC seems possible.
Yeah, I absolutely love this scene when the MC and Nami are about to leave to Vici. Zara is sitting at the table, she is so relaxed after the jacuzzi (although we could say that she is also relaxed at the deeper level because the awkwardness of all this "meet the soon-to-be-stepsiblings" situation is faded away). So, instead of stress she is having a good time, and she is being in the playful mood and even feeling like a flirting a little with the MC. It's so cool that the Ocean is painted the whole picture of the characters feelings and their relations dynamic just with the couple of frames and a little dialogue, it's one of the reasons why SG is the best.

So I finally played the latest. Didn't expect to need a new save but easy enough to run through. It seems like a few scenes/choices were removed like the entire first gym scene and other bits and pieces from previous updates. Overall this game is still way up there for me, but I'm not a big fan of the extended scenes for role playing games or basketball, that just distracts from the story for me. Also I still think most of the cinematics while breathtakingly beautiful are unnecessary. Can't help but wonder how much time would be shaved off updates without those.

That is a retorical question at best, Ocean deems the cinematics necessary to set the mood (it is here where the music is used to the best extend imo)/use them as part of storytelling etc. (and hell he does nail it with them), so they are an important part of the art puzzle that Ocean delivers. Also think of the devotion that Ocean pours in every part, but especially the cinematics. I daresay that without them they would loose a big part of the whole and Oceans work would not stand out the way it does on this site.

I can certainly see both sides of the coin.

BTW, since pretty much every character in the game has some deep issues and troubled past, Zara:

- Has some deep insecurities (according to Vanessa)
- Was/is easy to influence (accourding to herself)
- Is extremely (unhealthily) competitive and has a need to prove herself all the time

What do you think is broken in her, and is there more to the whole "mom tried gaslighting"? What's up with her?

I might be completely wrong but... Do you know how sometimes a father wants a son instead of a daughter, but they get a daughter and they start treating her and growing her like she is a guy? I think that might have happened with Zara which is why she is so competitive in everything, specially in sports or man related stuff, and also why she has to prove she is better at everything, to kinda say " i'm a girl, but i'm better than you at manly stuff". This is just my take on it. Might be wrong tho.

Call me stupid, and this is completely irrelevant to the overall scheme of things, but why are the logs called "bibi" logs?

Really? Nick seemed pretty chill to me.

I'd say Zara's got an inferiority complex because people probably praised her "smart, beautiful, and overall amazing" older sister, and she could have been (feeling) overshadowed by her growing up. Her over-competitiveness might have been a cry for attention.
