Germany banned Adult Games on steam. You cannot access them so I am pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get it on there in the first place.

Not sure about Germany restrictions (no adult games? really? WTF? makes no sense) but I have seen several incomplete games, divided in seasons or chapters there. Badik and City of Broken Dreamers are there as season if I remember correctly while Picture Perfect is there as chapters (if they allow chapters that should be no problem). I also remember Life is Strange is divided in chapters too, for example.
But I guess you will need to look into Steam conditions for Germany then.

I assume that if I'd spent 1000$ on WiAB, SG supporters would not like this. They pledged in order to support SG.
Especially when it comes down to hardware upgrades like a new GPU. Both games have their own PC and if I would buy a 3000$ GPU from the SG funds for WiAB. I would totally understand them being mad.
And you don't need to pledge to both sites. If you pledge to SG you will also get the WiAB update a week after the full version and vice versa.
