I recommend you to wait till SG Ch.5-Full come out and start completely new game without loading old saves. Due to masive changes of script in past few chapters, old saves are unusable.
Many of us are here for the great story about the MC, Nami, Nojiko and the MC's journey back from a self-imposed isolation that became a habit hard to break.
We've seen some Great sexy scenes - and I am including the 4 way kissing scene in CH 4.5, as an example, as well as beautiful women and mysteries slowly unfolding.
When the actual sex happens in Summers Gone, it will fit the story/world-building to that point in time and it will have meaning, based on the choices we have made for the MC.
I believe most of us here support Ocean as he tells this story His way, regardless of the few who complain because they are not getting the sex scenes they are 'Owed' when they come to take something for free.
We can read the page one spoilers, which list not a single sex act (since there is no sex yet because it is not appropriate to the story and world-building done this far), and we also know that Ocean still has the blue-ball warning we each have to click through before getting to start this AVN.
F95 has Many AVNs that are not centered on showing sex scenes faster than a short clip from PornHub and I, for one, am So glad that Ocean treats us like adults who can be patient versus 16 year-olds pining for a stolen look at a girl's tits.
I enjoy the actual discussion on this thread (versus some of the anti-SG spewing that has occurred recently) and I think Ocean does a great job keeping us involved with new teasers every two weeks.
For anyone who is thinking about creating their own AVN - Ocean teaches, by example, on how to do this and build an audience.
So - now to the Good Stuff!!
CH 5 Beta is coming soon and based on the hot renders of Amber, Claire, Bella (and Nadia starring as Lady Godiva - yes, non-canon but still uber hot), I can't wait to get the next part of this great story into my hands.

C'mon man. I also didn't like the changes made to Mila, but the rest of the characters look great. Amber looks less terrifying when she smiles, so as Bella. Their facial expressions look way more natural now. Also, cinematics in SG take time, and they look very fluid. I've seen other cinematics in other VNs, and thought they look nice most of them can't compete with SG's (Artemis, Eternum and Leap of Faith are close).
As for the BADIK thing, I guess the frustration comes from the last update: The waiting was long at it was mostly just sandbox, and it barely advanced storywise.
However it's unfair to make comparisons, Ocean and DPC haven different working styles, different schedules and, to be completely honest, different render quality. Not shitting on DPC cause I also love BADIK, but Ocean's renders have more high quality details that take a longer time to produce.

Don't see the point of yet another rework and I don't see the point of a steam release either. Only good to draw unwanted attention to this community and to get other devs in trouble. I mean I love Ocean's games but he keeps putting stuff on pause for reworks, finish the current project and start a new one if you want to implement new things...

Why would putting the game on Steam make problems for other devs? Many of them have their VN's on Steam.
The only thing Steam seem to have problem with is underage material so SG will be just fine.

They're already talking about shutting down Steam because of the "toxic masculinity and patriarcalism of the Steam community as a whole". And that's when multiple countries are discussing banning porn sites. Just imagine a press article about F95 and the website is done, Steam is already in trouble with activists when they're a multi billion dollars company. That's why I don't think that's wise.

And as long as the game doesn't break any laws in a specific country the VN is safe. Germany is the only western country I know of that bans them.
Germany does not ban most VNs. The main ... is that Steam went the easy way with age verification ("Thanks" to the Ample coalition, a real bunch of complete Stümper/bunglers, who wanted a "better" age verification) and so simply does not sell 18+ or anything looking like sex (but the 18+ shooters they still sell
) in Germany and several other nations with tougher age verifiaction any longer.
