Season 1 already has sexual content my dude, it's literally there go boot up the game you have the MC rubbing his dick between Nami ass, animated and all, you can downplay it however much you like but a scene where you clearly see a dick being rubbed against someones naked ass is "explicit". It's not gonna be completely removed but the sexual part is gonna be removed. Thats the weird part, what the hell does the music have to do with the scene being removed as well? You can just put different music or no music at all, removing the whole scene because of the music makes no sense to me.

Sexual content as in a girl touching MC's peepee. In the jacuzzi scene we only see Nami wiggling her ass on MC's lap, of course we know what's happening down there but don't exaggerate it. The thing is he paid for music licenses and now 40% of these were in risk if he didn't tweak that scene (we'll have to see the final version before judging, right?). And it's not the first time nor the last time where the music industry has influenced some of the VN around here. The most prominent example would be BaDIK with its original theme song, but Ocean himself has been a victim of this (RIP Every Night ).
And I'm not strawmanning you. Just saying that what you're complaining about are things that everyone already knew beforehand, like S1 wasn't gonna have H content.

But one observation. In a thread of another game, with very beautiful graphics, adorable characters and the word “summer” in the name, which was recently updated, they criticize the exact opposite things. They blame the developer for rushing sex scenes, that the MC has a magic dick and acts like a gigolo while being a 19-year-old virgin, that girls threw themselves at him after knowing him for a few hours, that the main story isn't progressing much for the sake of quantity of the lewd scenes.

Funny because there is also a large crowd of people that got mad that the game didn't have any sex with the main girls, apart from that 1 blowjob. So really people are more divided on that one, i thought it was fine although again pacing seems to be a very common problem with these games. Because yea it is weird that the MC got to full around with so many girls in what was half a day of real time for him. Still overall i think that game does things better because it has an MC that it's trying to build up having a very intimate relationship with the main girls while also acknowledging that they have to put some sex in there so we have a bunch of side girls throwing themselves at the MC. Again as long as they manage to fix the pacing, that game is golden.

I couldn't help but laugh, there’s no win with you guys. Some of you demanding lewds from the slow-burn story-based game with the relationship building focus. While the others criticizing the sex buffet game, though a perfectly made one, for not being story-based and for a lack of relationship building.

I dunno who "you guys" are but i think you just found out that different people want different things on the internet. The approach to building up to sex scenes is what i PREFER in my games, which is why i was offput when the dev seemingly did it for other reasons that are not game/story related, but mechanical that is where i had a problem with. I mean this game is a few month from being 5 YEARS OLD, thats half a decade... we are approaching this game going through 3 different US presidents and still not having any sex content lol.

It's not the only Ocean, many devs have faced the same problems and had to remove some key music compositions from their games, and the adult nature of their games became a direct reason for copyright holders to revoke their music tracks. And you're right, the jacuzzi scene is something that could bring the "adult" label or whatever it's called on Steam for the game. Many people won't ever see a game tagged like this on Steam, due to platform restrictions. It's a fair trade-off to rework one scene to appeal to a wider audience.

I understand that but i dont understand how removing the music means you have to remove the whole scene? Does that apply to every other scene as well? Cause most of the game has music lol, so most of the scenes will get removed? Actually i could understand a scene getting compromised by music being removed if its a scene thats made specifically to compliment the music like the various scene of Bella with her hair blowing in the wind or sharing a passionate kiss, etc... but Nami rubbing her ass on MC's dick didnt really strike me as that kind of scene, you could have played a trumpet during that it wouldn't matter.

RIP Season 2 on Steam then, not that he ultimately needs it, he released the game on multiple platforms already and is earning more than a brain surgeon in Switzerland does on it.

It's widely known that music industry doesn't like to give rights for their music. It's still taboo. In real live you can ask independent bands, but they usually run away when you use word "adult". Very few people will speak with you because they don't want their names are associated with adult content. Ocean try to find who are wiling to work with him and make good songs. Usually those are custom songs for the game.

My favorite movies, shows, games are also things i have a lot of criticism over, simply because i tend to also hold them to a higher standard than stuff i find to be mid or terrible.
I did 5 different playthroughs of BG3, i spent this much time in a game that's only been out for 2 and 1/2 months

and yet i have a ton of stuff to both praise and criticize the game for, even though it also became one of my favorite games ever, literally on my top 5 list of all time.
I dont understand some people some time, maybe we just have completely different standards and ways we approach things...

Anyway if it was established 1.5 years ago that season 1 would be non-sexual i guess i missed that part cause i genuinely cant remember and i have been following this game at least as far as the stuff Ocean releases on patreon, i dont follow everything he posts on discord especially if he doesn't tag people, but sure it's all non-sexual for now.
Not sure why he hyped up the next update so much then, especially with promising some really rewarding scenes with Nia, but oh well... maybe the MC and her play a very intense game of hide and seek.
