It will, actually... and I'm an example of that. If potential customers are anything like me, then they'll notice that SG is not just another porn game. The thing with AVNs is that... they have their niche. Most people aren't interested in them. SG shows you, from the very beginning, that it's something a bit deeper. There's an actual story with interesting themes and plots. That's kind of uncommon when it comes to AVNs... and it's also one of the main reasons why it became so popular in the first place.

LOL I dont think i laughed this hard in a while, thank you truly. Listen i love SG and all that, but it's really not that deep, it's about as deep as a Bethesda game. The thing that truly carries SG is the characters and style, the visuals are maybe the most impressive out of any game on here in both the quality of the renders and the beauty of the girls. Other than that, it has one of the worst protagonists i have seen in any game in terms of both looks and character.

If anything it lowered my exceptions for the next update given that he basically confirmed to us that there will be no sexy content in it, killing the hype.

Yea i will believe it when i see it. Season 1 is pure blue balls, hopefully Season 2 is normal cause as much as i defended the no sex stuff for so long. 100% this Hell I love and appreciate AVN games that don't throw sex at you right away. Since I'm one of the rare 1% of users on here that wants the build up to it cause it makes the scenes feel that more special when it finally happens. Also games that build up to for me tend to feel like they actually have a story, good characters and the relationships feel more romantic at least to me.

You on the other hand are just super fun at parties, i can already tell. Yes i know what the plot of the game is, given how little time the MC spends trying to figure it out in the game or what the developer does with the premise, no it's not that deep. Its in fact a Bethesda game where the premise sounds deep but it's only surface level once you get to it.
But it's fine i dont care, almost no one plays the game for those things anyway, most people play it because the girls are super hot, it doesn't get more deep than that.

Simply because expectations from the plot and character development become too high. Recently I was advised to echo of lust (Groundhog Day, time travel has always been interesting), but when I played the first season, I simply wasn’t interested. I’m not a prude, I have nothing against incest, but specifically in this game it just seemed that they really are neighbors, friends, etc. Or vice versa, which is why I will be interested to see even Nami's solo path. This is perhaps one of the most difficult paths in the game, precisely because of the consequences.

You were not in the 99% to begin with, dont worry. You guys are really playing up the story part of this game, like it's something mindblowing and not just a game that bucks the trend of 90% of other games that are "Mc lives with his LANDLADY and ROOMMATES". The story is "fine" for a porn game, but it's not anything more than that, the pacing is certainly awful but again who cares it's a porn game at the end of the day. Like i said the real strength of the game is in it's renders which are maybe the best on this site and characters who are both gorgeous(again maybe the most gorgeous on this site though that part is more subjective) and interesting. Slow burns are meant to be played for story and characters first. But I honestly don't think he is prolonging the no-sex stuff on purpose because of steam. Lust Theory / Echo of Lust is a shallow game - it wasn't the best advice in the first place.
In terms of story-telling, I enjoyed Eternum and The Unbroken. Latter may be more of interest to you as dev uses Daz. Also, Leap of faith is a great story.

In a thread of another game, with very beautiful graphics, adorable characters and the word “summer” in the name, which was recently updated, they criticize the exact opposite things. They blame the developer for rushing sex scenes, that the MC has a magic dick and acts like a gigolo while being a 19-year-old virgin, that girls threw themselves at him after knowing him for a few hours, that the main story isn't progressing much for the sake of quantity of the lewd scenes.

I couldn't help but laugh, there’s no win with you guys. Some of you demanding lewds from the slow-burn story-based game with the relationship building focus. While the others criticizing the sex buffet game, though a perfectly made one, for not being story-based and for a lack of relationship building.

Sexual content as in a girl touching MC's peepee. In the jacuzzi scene we only see Nami wiggling her ass on MC's lap, of course we know what's happening down there but don't exaggerate it. The thing is he paid for music licenses and now 40% of these were in risk if he didn't tweak that scene (we'll have to see the final version before judging, right?). And it's not the first time nor the last time where the music industry has influenced some of the VN around here. The most prominent example would be BaDIK with its original theme song, but Ocean himself has been a victim of this (RIP Every Night ).
And I'm not strawmanning you. Just saying that what you're complaining about are things that everyone already knew beforehand, like S1 wasn't gonna have H content.

Funny because there is also a large crowd of people that got mad that the game didn't have any sex with the main girls, apart from that 1 blowjob. So really people are more divided on that one, i thought it was fine although again pacing seems to be a very common problem with these games. Because yea it is weird that the MC got to full around with so many girls in what was half a day of real time for him. Still overall i think that game does things better because it has an MC that it's trying to build up having a very intimate relationship with the main girls while also acknowledging that they have to put some sex in there so we have a bunch of side girls throwing themselves at the MC. Again as long as they manage to fix the pacing, that game is golden.

I dunno who "you guys" are but i think you just found out that different people want different things on the internet. The approach to building up to sex scenes is what i PREFER in my games, which is why i was offput when the dev seemingly did it for other reasons that are not game/story related, but mechanical that is where i had a problem with. I mean this game is a few month from being 5 YEARS OLD, thats half a decade... we are approaching this game going through 3 different US presidents and still not having any sex content lol.
