Indeed, I played the first two chapters and after taking a break, went back again. The changes are really a lot. The first thing that comes to mind in this moment is the “redesign” of Mila. And that's if you don't count the scenes, soundtrack, etc

So not sure if this was talked about{probably was lol!} But what's the deal with Nami and the MC?
They act like bro and sis and make a big deal about it{especially Nojiko} and say to others "hey were roommates"{AVN talk for bro and sis lol!} But they can't be related{and you know they can't cause incest is not aloud on Patreon RIGHT?}

Is this why it's gets confusing? He was gonna make them related but Patreon killed that?
I bring it up because he pretty much tells her they can't be together during the pizza run at Vic's place.

In current canon, they aren't related, so no incest, and their is another reason, that we don't know yet. Ocean has said more will be explained in the future on why it is forbidden for them. So until we we get more info, incest will and forever be not canon anymore, no matter how much other people are stuck in the past and pre rework.

I feel like their has to be more to this then just patreon too, cause why remove all the incest in Wiab except Leia. Wiab already got removed from patreon so no reason to remove incest from that game at that point, so he probably has a plan on things to connect the stories.

And yeah she is Tied for my favorite with Bella. Their throuple is my main playthrough. Nami no longer being incest shouldn't make her a non favorite.

No, you weren't.

After Chapter 4, Chapter 4.5 was released, containing around 1,500 new renders, and its Beta was released sometime in November 2022.
Then Chapter 5 Beta came out in October or November 2023 with over 2200 new renders, I don't remember the exact date.

So, to answer to your original question:

So I reached Bella and Nika´s dinner date (beginning of Chapter 4, right?) and out of curiosity went to look up when it came out. People have been waiting for Chapter 5 for three years?!?!?

If you count the time from CH4.5Beta to CH5Beta, it's about a year. The difference between three years and one year is two years. You're off by two years in your calculations.

But now you're talking about the last update, which you think was almost 3 years ago.

The last update was the Steam version of Season 1. It was released in May 2024 and contained over 2,000 new renders related to the reworked Chapter 2, as well as some minor changes to other chapters. A year has passed since then too, not three years.

EDIT: Oh, and Bella and MC's dinner date is beginning of the Chapter 3.5.

it's 100% patreon, keep in mind that there are games that are banned from patreon because third parties (real third parties) have created incest mods. Ocean is worried that the connection between SG and a WiaB with incest could damage SG.

If he is that worried, he would of removed Leia as being our sister in that game too, cause that still can get back to him, but he didn't.

But go on believe what you want, you and the others just live in the past, live before any changes, or any rework, cause you can't accept the new version. You and everyone have too much nostalgia, so go ahead and believe what you want.

He recently backtracked, deleting the devlog where he talked about it from SubscribeStar. And to make things better it seems that even SubscribeStar is moving towards no incest. Or at least that's what was discussed in the WiaB camp

I think if you go back through all my posts on the topic my only complaint "was better before" is just about the meeting between Nika and Ayua at Cyrus' house. A good part of what we "others" were discussing was that the mood of Nika and Nami's relationship doesn't make sense
