To this day, I still don't get half of these complaints. F95 is supposed to be an
adult community... so why are so many of you being so childish? There are many creators here. So what if the story isn't up to your standards? Find something that
is.
Like, I understand some of the criticism I've seen here. There
are moments throughout the game where you're questioning the MC. But these are always explained within the story, often in following scenes and/or sequences. He's pushing himself to the
extremes, resulting in increasingly severe panic attacks because he hasn't adequately coped with his own depression(not too uncommon in real life). I've also seen many people critique the sexual nature of some scenes, and I actually agree to an extent. Sometimes, an LI
is out of place to strip and/or act suggestively.
Oceanlab can work on executing those scenes/moments better so that they feel more natural to the player. When an LI suddenly starts undressing or behaving suggestively, if players ask themselves why it's happening, there's a flaw in the writing of that scene and the writing leading up to it. There
needs to be a proper buildup of
tension, and the
emotional buildup needs to be
clear for everyone to see. These components can make or break a scene's impact on its audience.
Upset with the development cycle? Just type in the search bar, "development cycle", and you'll see that it's been discussed countless times already. If that's a dealbreaker,
then leave. Throwing a tantrum and insulting the dev and his supporters because you don't like waiting just makes you look like an idiot.
Everyone knows that the development cycle is this game's biggest issue. You rudely bringing up a problem that's been explained many times before does nothing but make people not want to engage with you. "Hey... so I noticed that this game started development in 2018. Is there any reason why we're still in the first season?" How hard is it to do that? Instead, we get - "LOL this game's been in development for 5 years... you guys will NEVER see the end of this. I'll be lucky if my GRANDKIDS get to play this. If you're still supporting this scam of a dev, ur an idiot..." - The wait and circumstances behind it suck, but no one's forcing you guys to deal with it.
Upset with the lack of lewd scenes? That's also been discussed dozens of times since the development of Chapter 5 began. It was a business decision made so that SG could reach a larger audience. To my understanding, the only AVN from this website to successfully make it to the mainstream audience was BaDIK(and I think it got help from mainstream influencers, too? Idk). As crazy as it sounds,
not everyone is interested in playing pornographic games. The average person
doesn't even know they exist. The AVN community is
very niche. Removing lewd material allows it to be advertised to the much larger mainstream audience that uses Steam daily. The fact that I even had to explain this is crazy to meღ
