It's not steam, it's ocean. He wanted to keep nudity minimum so that it's will be available in Germany and skipped a few steam survey questions which held up Steam review process for this long. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.
And until Season 1 is live on Steam, Ocean can't or won't release it on Patreon.

This is not a problem, you can check it yourself, and I am sure that you will confirm my words. To do this, you need to take any ready-made scene and render it in full HD resolution and record its time. Then render the same scene only in 4k resolution and record the render time. Then you need to compare the time and you should get that full HD renders 3 times faster than 4k.

Tell me honestly, do you yourself believe in all this nonsense that you write? In AVN, the most important thing is the sex scenes, if there are no sex scenes, like Ocean, then the plot comes first. And this plot should be so interesting as to compensate for the missing sex scenes and retain the audience. But not only does Ocean have no sex scenes, he also has no plot. If you come to the cinema to see the movie Transformers, and instead of it you see 2 men on the pier fishing the whole movie. You'll immediately run to the box office, angry, and complain that instead of a movie, they showed you some crap, and you'll also start demanding that your money be returned to you. Why shouldn't people complain when SG has no sex scenes or plot?
Seriously? For 5 years, Ocean showed Bella and Nami more often among all the characters. He couldn’t even reveal them after all these years; there were too many questions left.

First of all I never said people shouldn't complain about no sex scenes everyone likes different things, my point that you missed with that post was characters are just as important or more important than story or lewds depending on the player. Look people play AVN's for different reasons and like different things in AVN's. So yeah I do get sex can be important to some or plot could be more important than anything else as well it all depends on the individual everyone is completely different. So yes to me personally sex scenes are not important at all , they are just a bonus and something nice to look at. I do understand im probably one of the rare ones that play these games that doesn't look for the porn or sex.
Now im not saying plot isn't important for this game and I do agree there isn't much plot yet as this game feels like a slow burn story mixed with slice of life. To me plot isn't nearly as important as character and romance building. I play AVN's for the characters not the plot or sex. The order of important to me is personal enjoyment , character / relationship building , story everything else is secondary.
How long Ocean been making this game is irrelevant when im talking about the character development. making 5 chapters in 1/2 the time doesn't mean the character development is better. It's the writing , the dialogue and personalities of the characters and the character that makes for good or bad character development not time. Also btw I didn't say all characters. Sure I could of worded it better but clearly I was talking about the characters that have gotten some love like Bella , Nami , Zara etc. Now if I was talking about all characters then yeah the character development is average at best as there is alot that need some love.

Sasha is already Ocean's top 3 favorite girls, besides Nadia and Sonya. The problem is, will Ocean write the script based on his feelings (likes for certain characters) or based on professionalism ?
If he writes based on his feelings, be prepared to receive a lot of content from the three of them in the future .

I'd say Ocean can clearly write without favouritism. Sasha and Sonya have been his favourites since they appeared in CH2 and he hasn't let them dominate the plot.Sasha is already Ocean's top 3 favorite girls, besides Nadia and Sonya. For those arguing about the lack of a plot, there are many different things that make up a plot. and many different styles of writing one. If you want an action game plot that drives you to fuck like a bunny to save the world from the virus that will cause all men to disappear, there are xyz AVN's to play.
SG's plot won't represent a plot to you because you don't have the self critical skills to doubt yourself and your opinions. If you think the plot has to revolve around sex, that is an assumption you've made. Where does Ocean say the plot will be around sex? If you assume the plot is action and it's about ththe heist, where does Ocean say that? You've assumed again. If you want the basketball or the street racing elements to move forward, where is is stated that the underlying plot? If we want to see a continuation of WiaB, even that is not the plot.
All the plot is is how Nika learns to deal with the loss and trauma in his life, be re-engaging with the world around him. All the character development mirrors this. If you can't value this, its because the story doesn't mean much to you. Fine. But it will never be the other plots. It will always be about how these other things combine and affect Nika as he comes to terms with himself.
Self discovery is a valuable story. Overcoming trauma is a valuable story. If they are irrelevant to you that doesn't mean there is no story, it just means you should find another one.
And maybe stop flinching when looking in the mirror. You'll find life a whole lot more interesting if you stop projecting your own desires on everything around you. That's actual strength of character.
oh let me be clear for you then. this game sucks and its characters with their sappy stories. the only redeeming quality it has its the renders.

Genuine question: considering how long it will take to develop the next season, do you think you'll wait for it to develop in a way you like in that time frame? If it sucks for you now, what do you think will give it a 180 degree turn for you to not suck?
If you don't see how the story can develop in a direction that appeals to you, are the renders really worth your time?
Epic game store has SG for today's release date but you can't buy it. I hope steam get it review done so that it can be released soon.

initially i was interested on the mystery of summer and how the story would developed around the MC, her and the other characters, but after years of reworking and the introduction other characters with their sappy background stories i find myself feeling completely at odds with this game.
ima still play it because i usually finish narratives that i start. will it get better for me idk.

In my opinion, the most poorly implemented part of the story is the mystery around Summer. Other parts of Nika's life have effectively distracted him to the point that he goes from dreaming about her every night and being a recluse to her just being his weird ex. It undermines the trauma aspect, and makes the trauma side feel like a random lightning strike, rather than a ball and chain he drags around.
Having said that, I expect there will be more therapy sessons soon, and I'm sure we'll get more of a sense of how some of the characters interact via Ayua's fight training. Ocean won't give us a clear explanation for Summer so early in the story, part of the process for NIka will be learning not to hide from it. But yeah, I think the spectre of Summer needed to be more prevalent to give greater weight. Things like, when with Bella, if he kisses her, he has a couple of frames flash back to Summer and he pulls away upset or something. Or when she tries to get something going he freaks out has a panic attack. Nika's basically gone from being conpletely non functional, to balanced and calm, with erratic moments like seizures instead of overwhelming trauma.

Well then play something else. There are many AVNs here that suck for me and I just stoped playing them. I don't know what people like you expect to happen.
