Th argument is development cycle which is leading to Slow Story progression argument not that story is not progressing. From Ch3 Ocean is doing reworks over rework, what is ocean reworking that are not ending? check the render count of ch1 and ch2 and even with the release of ch5 Ocean did rework of ch1,2,3,etc. People are out of their mind if they think that story is progressing at the steady pace if

roughly same amount of renders are being used to rework considering this update and about half/4th quarter of renders are rework in previous update/s.

It makes me think that Ocean might've OCD if it wasn't for Steam release. Ocean himself is sabotaging the progression bcz of bad decisions. Who said him to keep making reworks of reworks of rework? It is bcz of these reworks development cycle has fallen to 1 chapter per year. It doesn't matter if the render count has gone up from roughly 1500 to 2000 in ch5 as vast amount of those additional renders are still going in reworks and we are still getting 1 chapter per year(ch1 release: 8 may 2019 and ch5 release: 10 may 2024) which could've been 2 if you count those rework renders as not reworks and proper chapter than we would be closing in of last chapters of season 2. And if this pattern continues in Season 2 than RIP SG.

I will say it again, people confuse story progress with updates, and they have since the reworks began with Chapter 3.

Look, people have been writing off SG since the reworks began, making all sorts of predictions and statements.

The reworks are apparently finished, so let's reserve judgement for 12 months time... and see how many updates come out between now and May 2025 and whether or not there are "reworks of the reworks".

And there are 25 more chapters to go, I wonder if gta 7(yes not 6) will come out first(?).

Edit: Just kidding don't take it personally ocean if your reading this, I am more of a fan of wiab.

Ocean spent months and months removing all the nudity from an ADULT GAME for no logical reason at all.
Now even kids from kindergarten can play this game. :LUL:
I had high hopes for playing this game but now...it's not worth it anymore.
Even the patreon version will be the same so no logic for people to get it from there...

yeah when I play the rework gonna have Bella solo , Bella / Nami , Nami solo , Mila , Victoria , Zara , Nia , maybe a Nia / Nami incase that becomes a thing any other ones will come after Season 2 starts.

This is now a decafeined game :cry:. Lost a lot of scenes ( the gun choice in accident , transparent outfit in basket game, sex scene whit Bella in sunset, and a lot choices more.)

that's what I thought Im guessing he counts laying on top of her car topless as a sex scene maybe even tho it isnt one lol. not sure I didn't play the rework but only scene that comes to mind he could be talking about but that is in chapter 5 would feel really odd if that one was removed as it's a great render and scene. So I doubt that one was cut but I could be wrong

"This game is second of five planned..." Well, we are waiting for the releases of the next three at the same time and every update of those must be reworked.

It's hilarious that he has other games planned when SG alone will take another 25 years to complete at his current pace of releasing one chapter a year.

I would stay silent if this year was spend on the new ch. But instead it spend on reworking the old content, cutting it, rewriting old scenes and so on.
I still have the very first release of SG with different Summer, but i'm done.
