There are two fundamental events on the Bella path that are unavoidable - partnering up in class and hatching revenge schemes with her. These two are central to overarching plot progression.
Aside from those two events, the player has a lot of latitude in how much they interact with Bella. The player can make Bella a LI or the player can keep interactions with Bella to a minimum, not participate in the Holgerson heist, and not enter a romantic relationship with her. Those choices lead to many differing outcomes. One of the beautiful things about SG is the subtle differences in scenes depending on choices made. It takes several playthroughs with different choices (and LIs) to appreciate the scope of these differences.
As to the uniform prank... on the Bella LI route, the MC and Bella have a conversation about Nami's revenge and the player has a choice to tell Bella they'll help Nami with that revenge or not help Nami. So, although the "uniform prank on Nami never gets answered for" by the end of Season 1, the game sets it up for sometime in the future.

You're right, I did notice that but hadn't done the math and yes it's weird. But not as much as the idea that a biologically normal 18 year old has control over their own erections. Especially morning wood. His guardian should have had him tested because he's got a hormonal problem, cancer or actually mis-sexed. Simply passing it off as 'psychological' is both absurd and borderline criminally negligent.
That it was all done as some cunning ploy to get it onto steam Germany just seems remarkably self defeating as it fails to satisfy anyone, while also being frustrating in the extreme due to the clearly lost potential.

I'm sorry to tell you that I'm not often in this thread to know what you talk about in more than 1800 pages, the last I knew is that he did it to be able to sell it in German market because of the censorship there in steam, which was counterproductive because in future updates with more quantity and frequency of explicit content would have forced him to make practically 2 different games if he wanted to continue accessing certain markets.Bro, this was discussed, re-discussed and over discussed again and again for tenth times here.
Are there sex scenes in the first season of BaD? Iirc yes, a lot.
Are there sex scenes in the first season of SG? As far as I know - no.
Would a player expect a sex scene in a game marked as "Adult only" like BaD?
It's safe to assume, they would certainly expect it.
Will BaD live up to these player expectations? Definitely yes.
Can the same be stated about SG? Absolutely not!
Do you understand now? By presenting SG as an adult game, Ocean would not be breaking any of Steam's rules, but it would be giving players the completely false expectation that the game would have sexual content. Unfortunately, most people still refer to "adult content" as "containing porn", although this is not entirely true.
So, Ocean removed everything that could be considered as porn content, even just images of genitals. Added the "Occasional Nudity" tag and submitted the game to Steam. They carefully reviewed the content, especially Bella's boobs, and told him - this was not an Occasional, but Frequent Nudity!
As I understand it, he tried to change their verdict, but Steam was adamant and he gave up. As a result, the game received the tag "Frequent Nudity" and with it restrictions by age and country. And here we are.
I won’t even start about the part of the story related to the music licenses; if you want, you can find all this drama in the thread and in the dev logs.
If he finally explained the reasons and they were completely different and had to do with player expectations it makes more sense, but it's not the reason he originally gave.
You do understand this entire game is about people with mental trauma and hang ups right? I mean everyone constantly talks about how fucked up the MC is. Its almost all the conversations with his family. Bella is fucked up because of her sister. That one girl was traumatized by an abusive mother. One was bullied because she was poor. These are not mentally healthy people. Thats kinda the point, them working through that. His hang up with Summer isnt because it was sexual, but emotional. It's his emotional hang up manifesting physically. Well that and his panic attacks. Of course its not healthy.....its not supposed to be and even he knows that.
