Forcing me to turn my brain off to "roommate" and "landlady" ain't no fucking landlord gives a fuck about their "tenants" and at the very least they sure as fuck don't raise them or pay for their psycological wellness fees lol. Well, you can objectively find something aesthetic without caring about it. Most people can recognise a good sunset, but some people get emotional. Some people just eat and say the food is good, others get way too excited by bread rolls. All I'm saying is that Nika knows what he sees, he knows what he likes, but that doesn't mean anything that gets him excited. He is not visually stimulated means that he isn't stimulated by the visuals, not that he can't recognise shapes, or say what's expected.
Part of the problem is Ocean has embedded a few chocies into the start to get and idea of the players preferences, the clearest ones are with Mila talking about t and a, with Nami's talk about feet, and with Karen and size. But remember that Vanessa getting naked caused no reaction, Bella being naked caused no reaction. In fact, other than Nami, no naked girl caused a reaction. The twin in the locker room? Nope. Robin sitting on him as much as Nami did? Nope, Bella humping him in multiple locations? Nope. Nia's sex toys and flashing her piercings? Nothing. He calls Zara's pancake boobs - which clearly they're not - which means he uses the complements or insults to get a reaction - he knows what normal people would do and he tries to act normal.
He gets introduced to a porn star, and remembers her breasts, just to find out about how long Noji has been lying to him. His mind is not associating any of this with sex or romance. That is why the change of perception with Nami or the scents affect him - they're sensations he's not used to. Look at those instances and see how uncertain he is. I mean, the way he gropes Mila while kissing Vic, Nami knows he's trying to mask his discomfort, that's why he rocks a panic attack later. The connections in hin mind between the sensory stimulation and his responses, those pathways are disconnected by the trauma.

As i said I get you. We just have a different take on it. I understand the intent of those choices but Nika is not a vessel that only projects the players intent, he has a personality of his own and I feel that if those things are of no interest to him he would not have them or have them in another manner.
I agree that trauma has neutered his libido so he don't have a sexual response to thing as nudity and even direct contact, unless is Nami, I just don't equal it as him having no interested in them because he has show that he has - for me at least - what he don't has is the mind state to enjoy it.
