I also don't understand why MC pretends to be impotent. It all looks very ridiculous. Maybe he's gay or a cuckold?! That would explain why Summer ran away from him.

The Jacuzzi scene proves that he is faking it. Besides that, this whole situation with impotence seems far-fetched. This confirms that MC does not care about his illness and he is not trying to get cured. But the most important thing is that his mother is a doctor, and she also does not care about her son's impotence. All doctors, at the slightest suspicion of a problem, run for an examination, and here impotence is completely ignored, it is all very strange and ridiculous.

You understand that men dont have control of their own erection right? There is no way to fake it, the thing is that for some reason he got a reaction from Nami. The only thing this proves is that he doesnt has a physical condition but a psychological one, and it can be treated and he will turn back into normal mode once its done.
And how tf you say he doesnt care about his illness? He is getting treated by Amber, and he wants to change..he even express it.
And his "mother" being a doctor doesnt mean that much, each doctor has their own field, and his "mother" didnt know about his condition, had only a suspicion and is a tough subject and as she says, he doesn't talk to her about stuff and would be weird to assume it incorrectly... he tells her about it after going home from the book club.
I hate the fact that Nojiko lied to the MC about not knowing Bella's mom. I don't care about the reason as to why she did it. She lied to her son while he was most vulnerable to get him to do something he didn't seem to want to do. Hell, I bet Bella's mom got the MC's teacher to make them partners. All of this manipulation in the background by the adults with them not seeming to care about how it affects their children really pisses me off.
And any "it's for their own good!" "It's done with the best intentions!" Argument doesn't hold up with me. As the saying goes: The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. Any emotional manipulation by people you trust and care about is absolute bullshit. Especially when that someone is your parental figure. Even more so when that manipulation is done when you're at your lowest and completely vulnerable, the moment when you need the people to be open and honest with you. If the MC hadn't gone to the book club, would he have ever figured out that Nojiko lied to him in order to manipulate him?

How Nojiko manipulated Nika ? Nojiko forces him to go to therapy after you broken in a house to steal some golden panty, Nojiko is incredible understanding if was my Landlady I would end up with out a hand, depression or not.The fact that she omited know Amber before the meeting should be questioned, but there is no way of knowing her reasons and it in itself does not constitute manipulation from Nojiko part.
In another note. I also don't think that Amber set up Bella and Nika by Marla, the assignment will be rotactive, Bella and Nika at one point will work with everybody else - I wanna se it if you are on Bella's and Mila's path- and with each other, changing their parthers now is pointless if they will end up together at a late time.
For clarification nika explains to nami that he can hard if he thinks about summer. But he doesn't want to "fake" a response. That he wants to get better. So it is psychological and I don't think it has been made clear whether mom is aware of impotence. Nika has not been in relationship since summer I believe so it may not have arisen (pun intended).

Nika and Noji talked about it when they got back from Book Club, he told her that his depression was affecting his sex life, she confirmed that she didn't know for sure but had long suspected it.
Nika "I don't think you know how much my depression affects me."
Noji "You need to be a little more specific Nika... You don't really talk to me... I can only assume, and if I assume the wrong thing... It's going to be weird."
Nika "About sex."
Noji "Oh."
Noji "Oh I... Umm... I figured as much."
Noji "You never left any traces... I suspected it."
Noji "Not like- others in the house..."
And somehow, thanks to this dialogue, and some previews of Noji and Nika in the pool from the second season, it starts to seem to me that Nami is not the only one who will soon be concerned about treating the wormy.
True I forgot that scene, that is present day. Given Nika's other problems like depression, nightmares, anxiety attacks and fighting Noji had her hands extremely full raising him. It surprises me how healthy their relationship appears to be despite the trauma. Nika speaks of Noji with affection and respect, without appearing to show resentment at being guided and pushed toward recovery.

Well, well, well... Look who decided to show up.
I'll be making one big change to the dev logs: From now on, all dev logs will be released on the same day.
In the past months, I have established a serious commitment to my daily renders and figured out how to "abuse" the ability to go into a hyperfocus for 10+ hours.
These hyperfocus sessions have a main drawback.
I feel absolutely antisocial, and writing dev logs feels like climbing an impossibly high wall.
They help me achieve amazing game-related goals, but I can't do anything social for a few days afterward.
As most of you know, I don't just provide dry information in the dev logs; I often discuss all sorts of game-related topics, even personal topics.
By releasing all Dev Logs on the same day, I have more "free" days to just be a robot without having to power down and be in some sort of in-between every few days.
I also have this adhd tick that when I have an appointment or there's a date I have to do something, I think about it every single day... And it's distracting. I tried to fight it by reducing the numbers of previews buuuut... well... Yeah.
So, both dev logs will now be released on the same day. That way I also won't need to repeat info from the last log in a new one.
S2 - Chapter 1
I've been churning out renders left and right and put a lot of work into some decorative elements in the scenes.
The goal of every update should be to increase immersion.
I'm about to finish three scenes, and have done a little bit of postwork.
Previews:
With Chapter 1, a little bit of branching will be introduced, and the following scene is a good one to showcase this.
Where girls meet (Or how we would say it in Germany: "Treffpunkt feiner Geister.")
Depending on previous choices or routes, several different girls can take Kate's place in said render.
I'll showcase two of them.

The next Dev log in two weeks will be a few days late, as I'll be visiting family from 23.11 to 1.12. Three big family events are happening in one week, and I don't want to miss them.
It might also be a good idea to take a week off from my overdrive healthwise. During that week, I'll finish the German translation for SG and start implementing some others, too.
