For real, I thought Carly was the character that would give me the most intense impact among all the VNs that I would be playing in my life...and Ocean did such a job that, by far, Bella outshone her and will continue to do so for ever with any other VN characters, I'm afraid...

All that neon and the marble paint job is a bit too much for my tastes and a bit too "Look at me!" Bella is way too cool for that and needs a better ride IMO. Something like an Aston Martin DB9 perhaps.

I'm a big fan of this VN. Truly. But let's all face the truth. While the writing is extremely good, perhaps even exceptional, for a porn game, it's far from world shaking prose. Plus now the MC is saddled with ED. In a porn game. Seriously? There is slow burn and the there is no burn, and the developer has created an entirely new concept reverse burn.
I enjoy the game, but at this point the complete lack of intimacy among the various characters is getting very very old. Adding ED to the mix is just boring. For the record there can not be sexual tension between the MC and any character if sex is off the table by decree. So the various scenes called out here as expressing that have missed the point. Until sexual intimacy is a possibility all of this is just posturing, and as it continues it's ever more boring posturing.
I very very much like this game and the writing, but it's long past time for some heat.

I understand your point, your frustration, and agree with it. We are all passionately burning to see some hot action happening.
But there's nothing we can do about it but wonder....I only hope that, when they arrive, the sex scenes get to be top notch quality like we've been seeing so far. It is a real bummer to see the MC with ED, for sure, and I understand where you're coming from and I'm hoping as well to see it changing ASAP.
And hell yeah, Ocean's writing and artwork are nothing short of a godly tier!

Fist, I made it explicit that those scenes do not have SEXUAL TENSION. Yes, explicit. So your point, from the beginning is moot. Quoting myself
Even without that, I am a strong supporter that sex can generate a lot of intimacy. But at the same time you can have sex without absolutely any intimacy whatsoever. And you can generate intimacy without sex. That is Bella and MC scene in the changing room.
Whether or not it becomes boring or not we cannot tell. It would become boring if this novel was a pure love game, in which getting the girl is all there is. My understanding given what we have shown, is that things are going to be more complex than simply deciding which girl you wet your dick into and live happily ever after. I can be totally wrong, though, but I really don't think I am.

As a guy who had (sometimes they come back stronger or less) depressions i can totally agree...
I´m almost cold as ice,broken,no emotions to the outside...but inside,too many emotions,thinking 24/7 too much like the brain never stops working even when sleeping...
But there were always Girls/Women who catched me...
Smart shy girls who send me a smile...
Strong girl where her eyes said "do you have a problem punk?" and i smile...
They always made my day,and even i had a chance ,more than flirting never crossed my mind,cuz deep inside i always knew,if i flirt more i'll destroy this girl...
They couldn't handle my problems...never...
Thats why i can see myself a lil bit in the MC...
Depressed Guys maybe dont show feelings,but its not like they dont have emotions...its the opposite...
The worst case of depressed guys is when its mixed with borderline syndrom like me

I actually don't mind if they kept the sex scenes up till the last second, Summer's gone and Hillside are two VNs I've tried that I don't actually mind if there isn't any sex or saves the sex for the last, It makes sense in the context of the story but then again, I'm one of the few people who read for the story and doesn't care for the sex at all.
But I do understand the people who are getting blue balled at the ridiculous amount of sexual tension between our main guy and the girls nami and bella, hell even amber is so physical with her therapy lmao

Maybe the point of it all is that you can only go so far with all the sexual tension and seeing nothing happening until you get frustrated. But I fully trust Ocean's skills about that. His storytelling abilities are out of the ordinary, as I said before.
We're all in this ride, so let's just enjoy it!

I wasn't bothered by that. Its like an MCU film giving the hero a disabling injury in the first act. You know they're going to overcome it at a suitably dramatic moment.

Yeah this is really one of my fav. VN's where sex dont matter...
The story is much more interesting...i wouldnt say its over the top...
but like AOA ; DeLuca Family ; Rebirth (and some other like Now.And.Then where its not only about sex) you wouldnt care about the lag of sex...

oh man i hope Ocean doesn't make Bella a smoker, i know it's fictional but that's a huge turn off for me and she's by far my favorite character

In my experience, webp is inferior when it comes to shadows. (Compared to jpg)
Some darker images looked completely different.

Sure, but that size is going to be damn big.
Like at least 30-50GB for each season. Especially the cinematics are compressed rather hard.
From 400MB+ to under 70MB.
But yeah, I might do that after every season that is completed.
Those two renders are from a custom-set of renders for a guy who likes to smoke a lot of weed.
And whatever happens in those custom-sets, is entirely fictional.
But in the end, the characters are also just "human". They have flaws and make mistakes. It's up to the player to help them change for the "better".
But I agree, smoking is a real turnoff.
But I personally wouldn't want to miss out on a potentially amazing person just because of that. I'd rather invest some of my energy into her and try to help her stop smoking.
The payoff of this energy investment might be invaluable beyond estimation.
